Leenie: I'm with you on the paying for it part. I knew I wasn't going to be "good" this weekend but YIKES!! I'm doing better from now on that's for sure! No treadmill and I don't think I'll have time to exercise today, but I'll see as the day goes on. Too much to catch up on!! Definitely love the carrot

Ok. So I'm up 5 pounds from the weekend....so I'm going to work on that. ARGH! At this rate I'm going to be up to where I started from. What's up with that, huh?? So time to get VERY serious (and not just say it cuz it sounds good!!) about this weight loss again and realize I can and will do this!!! So I'm not going to change the sig. yet. Maybe on Wednesday. Then I've got to work on start getting exercise in. I'm hoping tomorrow I can. I really don't think I'll have time today. I've got to catch up on Girl Scout stuff and emails and such. Good morning ladies! Well, the visit with my dad was good, but now that he's gone its time to jump back on the OP wagon! Brenda - I, too, am up 5 pounds. It sucks!!! But today is a new day and a new start. I am going to drink water like I'm lost in the Sahara. I am going to EXERCISE. Its boot-camp time!!! No more whining! I'm sick of the squishy belly hanging over my jeans! I'm sick of my ample rear end scaring me when I glimpse it in the mirror! I hate my double chin! And you know what? I have the power to do something about all of it!!! AND I'M GONNA DO IT!!!
Okay - I hope I can keep that enthusiasm up all day...

Hey ladies..sorry to say I've been hiding. and cheating. mainly because there was *nothing* to eat in the house but carb ridden crap. So..there is my confession. And, We cheat a little on Sundays after church now. But, I think if I'm good the other 6 days, I'm entitled to that one good meal. My weakness: country fried steak and pepper gravy and mashed potatos..lol.

on a good note..we are on week 2 of homeschooling. I'm learning all over again, just as Zoey is learning new things. It's so cool..lol. I'm starting to get more organized with what she's learning. I'm so proud of myself.
Leenie~NOPE!! I did NOT stay OP! Man oh man I was so far from it it isn't even funny. The pants are really feeling it to. I was so proud of myself last week for having lost 3lbs, well I'm sure I gained that and then some back because the pants are soooooo tight...and they have the elastic waistband.
Kim~GREAT attitude! You are right it's gonna be a good week and I also am not gonna take NO for an answer. I hope you had a wonderful walk!
Brenda~It's induction time now!!!! Good luck w/it. I know you can do it girl. Just think in 2 weeks how much better you will feel. Take it one day at a time and each day commit to yourself and to us that you are gonna make it on the induction!! Go Brenda Go, Go Brenda Go!!
Sarah~Glad you had a great time w/your dad. I'm joining you back up on the wagon, I fell off and fell hard. I love that quote. That is so true!! I'm have already written it out and have taped it to my computer screen.
As I'm sitting here and typing I think about how true that is. I do make excuses...I was busy, it was a special occassion, etc. And yeah, life does happen and you have to adapt to the situation but for me it doesn't mean that I need to eat the whole 1 gallon bucket of peanut butter cookies that my mother in law just made for my family. Ummm...yes that did happen I'm sorry to say. I think that this is the worse I have done since I have become a member back in July of this year. I just didn't care and that is sad. There was lots going on and my attitude is oh well...it won't hurt and I know that it did. Let me tell you if I could get my foot up to my butt I'd be kicking myself!! I am not gonna change my avatar until Wednesday when I do my official weigh in. Hopefully it won't be to bad. We are going and getting an exercise bike tonight from a good friend of mine who doesn't want it any more so TONIGHT while watching Wife Swap, I'm gonna be riding. I need to get some water in me because I haven't had any in well.....days and I need it so bad. I'm thinking that will help me this week also. The exercise I have a problem with. hehe But I DO have to go feed deer so I'll be tromping through the woods for a good 1/2 hour so THAT is my exercise-- and I've got 1/2 my water in---how about you??
Mindy: Congrats on the homeschooling going so well. I discovered I don't do well if I'm good for the 6 days and cheat on 1 day. To my body it's like I've cheated the WHOLE time. Good luck w/it!!!

Well, as I said, 1/2 the water in and eating is good. Feeling sluggish and a little headachy but that's due to the lack of caffeine and carbs. I can't believe I was swigging PURE soda (not even DIET!) this weekend!!!! I think I had 1 glass of water and it was GROSS (tasted like chlorine!). But I'm doing good and hope/pray I can keep all this up and start the losing cycle again I'll readjust the sig. on Wednesday also and hope that it doesn't have to reflect how truly bad it has gotten. It would be nice to lose a couple of the 5 pounds I gained in the next couple days
Well, it's time to go to the woods (20 minutes=1 mile so I'll get my exercise in for the day )

Just got home from work and am chowing on a cube steak I weighed this morning and almost did a flip when the scales read 214 I definitely need to drink more water and I'd love to walk some more but my back just can't take it anymore. On a good note, I got a lot of compliments today, that always feels fantastic for people to notice. I just can't wait until I'm under the 2's. (Have I mentioned that?) teehee. well I managed to stay away from the tea all weekend though it was absolute torture....but I lost 1 lb!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That might nto seem like much but when you haven'tl ost in 2 weeks one lb is like ...heavenly. I must stay OP all week cuz I'm cheating a the halloween party! I MUST have apple cider!!!
btw update on my costume, the tulle didn't work out with this particular skirt, but I did get opaque white thigh highs and garters, the stockings have bows at the tops of them and i'm wearing pin up girl heels that lace around the ankle with a big floppy bow, they are so cute! and I got a new wig that is bright auburn to go with my 'red riding hood' look.. can't wait..
Hello ladies! So, guess what...yep your never go off OP and never cheat kid did just that...I had a piece of cake. I haven't weighed myself this week (officially), but I did when I got home with all my jewelry and clothes on and it said what my ticker says, so I had to lose something!
I thought about surprising my husband when I go see him, but I broke down and told him how well I've done. I told him that I lost 16 pounds and he asked me if I was eating. What a loser. It's like he wanted me to lose weight, but now that I have he doesn't believe that I did. I just guess he will have to see for himself in TWO DAYS!@@@!

Well, I got my water in AND instead of peanuts when I came home today I had a few cheese curds and sausage chunks. Doing better but need to TOTALLY cut the snacking out. I wasn't hungry just needed something. So I was thrilled I "got away with" eating what I did. Makes me think I really CAN get this right this time! lol
Morning all! I am dragging butt today BIG TIME!! I am so tired and I don't know why. I have had a really rough couple of days lately because of oldest's b-day last week and everything I did for her friends party and the family one and I think I am still trying to 'catch' up on my rest.
Brenda~Didn't get to do the bike thing last night. Didn't get it home until 5 minutes before hubby left for work. I WILL BE ON IT TONIGHT!! I'm thinking of watching the BL while biking...how motivational right??? My water stunk yesterday. 24ozs. that is it. I don't know why but water right now, just isn't doing it for me.
