Default It's Must-See Thursday!

Hi y'all...I stepped on the scale today and was delighted to see 5 of the 7 lbs I gained gone! I won't rest on my laurels--I want to lose at least 3 more by Monday's weigh in. I'll take whatever I can get!

I still haven't made any significant moves toward exercising yet. I know that, in order to succeed, I'm going to have to move my body. I just can't bring myself to do it, even though I know I will feel better for it. I want a stronger body!

Jen try incorporating "moves" in to your life slowly. Try walking outside for a 20 min walk. Try walking in place with Leslie Sansone Videos, or even just watching any program.

Dani: I've been working out in our pool a couple of times a week for the last couple of weeks, but I know I need to do more.

I also have some resistance bands that I could use for strength training, but not sure how to use them effectively. Anyone ever used them? This is the rubber tubing kind with handles.

Good morning everyone! What's the plan for today? 3 days til weigh in! Are you ready? (not me-TOM's here ) However it has still been a good week - not the best - but good.
I am starting a whole-bodydetox tonight. It's a 21 day regimen to clean out the toxins from your entire body. Is this a good time to quit smoking? I'm excited about it - but kinda nervous. It says there may be side effects (from what I can tell, similar to severe PMS so what's the diff? HEHE) but they only "generally" last from 2-4 hrs. Am I "general"? I eat my regular diet and drink lots of water. green tea, and organic apple juice. Then there is a 7 day colon cleansing, that has a 5 day fast with no solid food - THAT SHOULD BE FUN! Anyway I'll let you know how it goes. Who knows maybe I'll lose 10lbs in crap!
Just got a few errand to run today. Brynna has pre-school, and Danae's school if having a charity drive for Hurricane Katrina Relief and the clothes and donated items are being picked up tomorrow by the coast guard, so I gotta go drop off stuff there. Here's to another great OP day!

Donna -- I didn't know you smoked! Yes, quit! What does the colon cleanse exactly consist of?

Jen -- Why not try incorporating just the 8 minute exercises? It is only 8 minutes (well, maybe a bit longer). But it is really simple. I believe you have a JC book, right? They should be in there.

Shanna -- Great that you are getting right back OP!!! That's the way to do it!

Dani -- Awesome on the 1 pound!!!!!!!!!! Keep going, girl!

I am still at 142 this morning so I think I am not going back up again! PHEW!!!!! Not sure if I can lose another pound by Sunday but I am hoping I can. My father-in-law will be coming to town so that means eating and drinking! Hmmmm...I need to exercise self-control!!!!

Have a terrific day!!!
