ok, well I'll grab my coffee in a minute better do this first before I have to get off.

My alarm went off at 5:00 this morning and scared me out of a deep sleep. But I drug myself out of that bed anyway. Took me a minute to catch my bearings, but I put on my exercise clothes and popped in my Walk & Jog tape and did 2.5 miles. I was fine once I got going, but boy could I have stayed in that bed.

Jan Miles = 31.5

Tip - so what did you find out at the meeting last night? did everybody in town know about your answering machine message except for you? hehe Did you see my questions from yesterday? I'll copy it here - I'm curious

"ok tip - now you've got me wondering.....exactly how did you find out that the message had been changed??? did somebody tell you? haha or did you or Roger call home to leave a message and hear it? I am tickled trying to think of how you "found out" about it."

SueMarie - I was wondering, have you ever put a pedometer on for the day when you are walking all over campus? I would be curious to know how many steps you get in a days time when you are walking all day like that. bet it's more than you think! I have to get my steps in my exercising bec I sit at a desk all day.

Cin - are you back yet? just thinking about ya and checking on you.

Leenie - busy? of course you are! be good!

oh man i gotta run - sorry - hey hey hey to the rest of the gang!

hugs,
cathy

Default Good late morning ladies

Hi all,
I did 60 min. of aerobics this morning. I feel great now. I made a commitment to myself to exercise this a.m. , and I DID IT! Kind of a slow day on here.

Kierie-Get well soon! Waiting to see if you feel better tomorrow.

Cathy-I couldn't pull my butt outta bed at 5 a.m. I have a hard time with 7. Congrats on not shutting off the alarm and going back to bed. That is commitment.

Oops, look at the time. I gotta go get Kayla from Kindergarten. I'll catch up with you gals later.

Hello Everyone!

Tippy – OMG hehehe, I’m curious as Cathy is to findout how you found out about the recording.

Cathy – Hi… you know, that is a very interesting idea! Tommorrow I have class again, I think I’ll strap on that pedometer and see where it takes me! Oh! I have no idea where I put it… hmmm BRB… ok found it hehehe. Now I have a question… Should I be logging all this walking I am doing during my long days? Because what I have been doing is, if I don’t like get up and do exercise, as in not just something I have to do like walking to classes, if I don’t physically get up and say I’m gonna exercise… I don’t log it as exercise. Did that make sense? Hehehe… Basically if I need to walk to get somewhere I don’t really log it as exercise and want to know If I should heh. 31.5 miles! WOW! I’m jealous! I definitely plan on seeing what exactly I do during a month with my exercising and all that. When I do that DDR with my kid, it tells me how many calories I supposedly burn and it keeps tracks of your steps and says that I jog like a mile or 1.3 miles. Although I don’t consider it jogging, more like walking, but I think that would be a good thing to use for my miles as well. I usually set the DDR to burn 350 calories. Then it counts down to 0. I’m not sure how accurate that is but if it counts my steps that I do when I step on the pad, I could use the calculated miles It gives me. There are times where I do this twice a day. It’s addicting and its fun hehehe… but I will get back to you on that pedometer reading tomorrow

Kierie – GET WELL :

Chris – yes definitely getting up to exercise is a chore in itself. I’m still tryin *grin* congrats on your getting in the 60 minutes… WHEW I dunno if I could handle that… usually at 30-40 minutes, I’m ready to fall over.

Alrighty guys, I’m gonna get going… need to get ready for work. Take care everyone!

Regarding the answering machine greeting , I found out when Brat the cat stepped on the button on Monday! I heard a voice that sounded like mine saying all kinds of expletives about a d*mned cat! OMG! After I figured it out and quit ROFLMAO, I changed it.
Last night, we went to the church meeting and when "new business" came up, I just asked if anyone had received my greeting. Nobody did, praise the Lord. But, did I get teased! Pastor wiped the tears of laughter off and asked me if the cat needed a pastoral visit or maybe I did.
By now, most everyone at the church know that I know most words....if you get my drift. I don't say them a lot but have been known to when someone irks me once too often.
That is one of the advantages of growing old. I can be eccentric and blame it on aging when I've always been a bit strange!

Hey Lynnie-Migraines are the worst. I've only had a few in my life but my sisters' get them frequently. One of them has to write her phone number down and her name when she feels one starting because she can't remember those things. She gets really spacey. She'll go lay down in a dark room for hours and sleep some of it off. Once she throws up (TMI) she feels a little bit better. She has severe ones. I guess I'm the lucky one. I've had to take her to the emergency room for it before.

Rest and feel better.

Afternoon Everyone!

Tippy - I guess the cat wanted evidence gotta love our pets!

It’s raining again here… Today… well besides the gloomy rain, the relatives have decided it is time to make a visit (aunt flo and uncle TOM) soo… I just pray with all this rain I don’t get my spirits down in the dump and pig out. It’s gonna be hard enough to keep my cravings under control now that TOM is here.

Being extremely over weight, I’ve had problems with being “regular” matter of fact this problem started when I was 18. The only thing that sorta kept me regular was being on the pill… I really hated taking that stuff… I gained weight like crazy. However, from what I have been told from doctors, my weight is storing the estrogen rather than releasing it which is keeping me from having regular TOM’s… It’s amazing tho, that just loosing that 30lbs the last 4 months I’ve been able to keep track of things and I have never been regular my whole life. Or maybe, its just a coincidence?? Anyone here have the same problem, and have experienced this with their weight loss?

I hope I didn’t offend or you know, gross anyone out.

SueMarie, have you ever been diagnosed with PCOS? Sounds kind of like my cousin. She doesn't have a period at all and she is really overweight. She took fertility drugs to have her daughter when she was in her early twenties but has not been able to have any since then. She's a couple years older than me...I think she's 36 now.
