OK now I gotta post something to get this thread to the top!!

I felt productive today. I made a one egg, 2 egg white omlet with mushrooms, onions and tomatos (2pts) with lite toast (1 pt) and 1/2 cup of oj (1 pt) and a half cup of grapes (1/2 pt) and coffee with ff creamer 1 pt) and water, water and more water!! Then I folded a load of laundry, put one in the washer after separating all the loads, unloaded the dishwasher, loaded it back up, made John and Andrew a banana bread to use up the two over ripe bananas on the counter and cleaned up everything including the junk on the counter. I made the bed and put the mail in the box to go out and now I'm ready to fix lunch for us all. John got out of work early today...some days he works 4 hours some he works 12....no consistency there!!

OK off I go...so come out and post so I have more to read later!! TTFN Michelle

Happy Motivational Monday!

Wow. All I can say is...Wow. Y'all are chatty. I'm going to have to take several posts to catch up.

First of all, I ended yesterday on program! Yaaay me!

Michelle, your gourmet hamburgers sounded delicious yesterday! Would you please set another place at your dinner table tonight? I'm comin' over! You said a mouthful when you talked about regaining that weight! Such a waste of time...money...clothes...and most importantly good health!

LuckyLadyBug, I think that's what has been my problem--understanding exactly what causes me (besides eating too much food) to gain this weight in the first place.

Kat, I ask myself two days before my Mom and Dad visit why I wait until then to do a major cleaning of the house! You should see...second thought...no, you shouldn't...see my guest room. Mom and Dad visiting a little over a week ago and althready the bed is piled with Christmas presents...and yarn...and lots of yarn! And thank you for the welcome!

Terri, I've never been on a horse in my life! The closest I've come to a horse was a brief time I worked in the office where they trained race horses. Talk about some huge horses! Beautiful...but big! More than beautiful. They were AWESOME! You didn't hurt yourself did you when you fell off? And congrats to you a good food week! And exercise! AND congrats on the great loss!

I want in on the next challenge! What are the rules? Do we weigh everyday? I can do that!

hippygoddess, I'm proud of you! Good for you--you went water walking! CONGRATS on the pounds lost!

cdtobehealthy, how are you doing today? Feeling better? (You might have posted since I started this...) on the great day you had yesterday!

Kerri, I agree with you...weekends are tough! You are shaming me--I need to get back to Curves. I keep saying that but its true.

2cute, doncha just love that finger in the pie in my ticker?!

Jen, I do better on program when I'm busy. You can do it!

Angela, thanks for the welcome! CONGRATS on the loss!

Loved the poem Skittles!

Michelle, your enthusiasm in infectious! You wouldn't believe the morning I've had! And last night! Actually, last night, Wayne and I had to go to a viewing. And this afternoon I go to the funeral. The husband of my old supervisor passed away. I've been trying to get a ton of work done before I leave at 1:30pm.

Okay...gotta take a breather. I'll be back later...although that might mean another dozen posts!

Hi girls. I'm here, and I started to post this morning before work but looked at the clock and was freeking out, had to have the kiddo's out the door in like 3 minutes. So anyway, here I am. Finally a break in my day at work and thought I would check in and tell you I am doing A-O-K today. I have had my breakfast and my lunch and let me tell you about my lilttle woops this morning. I got in the van and saw the last piece of a super size Twix bar sitting there, and instictivly I picked it up and ate it!!! So, I saved the wrapper brought it to work and counted the points in for the day. I wasted 3 points on that little sucker!! Anyway we are now after lunch time and I have had 9.5 pts for the day. I fixed a big ole bowl of lettuce and cucumber and topped it with the 2 pt Chicken Santa Fe Smart ones....OMG to die for. So a very low point friendly lunch. I have an apple sitting on my desk for snack or a yougart in the fridge if I need that. Tonight is Evan's first basketball game, so we will probably be rushed for supper, maybe SUBWAY? But that can and will be point friendly.

I got to run right now but will be back later gators.

Hugs,

Hey ladies can't stay long

I just wanted to say that I may not be posting too often for a while Last night I hurt my back and it is killing me! I probably just pulled a muscle or something. I hadn't worked out so I just decided to do some simple situps and I guess I wasn't paying attention and tried too hard

I'm just going to rest today -maybe do some leg lifts in bed since my legs dont hurt then, and if I feel better I'll go to work tomorrow and hopefully catch up on all the posts If I get worse I'm gonna go to the doctors.

It really isn't fair that this happens right when I'm working out with great determination! But I will be more careful next time - thats for sure.

Hope you all have a great week -hopefully I'll be around for it

Hi everyone,

Quick post from work.

Thin: Congrats on your weight loss, but a big BOOOO to your review of Bridget Jone's Diary! I thought it was awesome. Can't wait to go see the sequel.

Otherwise, a very long day. Been OP with lots of water. I have a stupid supervision meeting at 4 pm so am off to Curves right after school to get it in and still get home to spend some time with DH and little one before bowling tonight.

Have a great day everyone.

Oh, BTW, did I mention that today is our 4 year anniversary???

Oh my goodness.... I owe several of you a HUGE APOLOGY !!!

I got excited about Thins weight loss because we both started the same day here.
We have shared the same struggles... plus the same top weight too.
I totally forgot to congratulate the other losers.

Barbg... Congrats on that pound. You have to lose one before you can lose 5. And you have to lose 5 before 10 ... so you are on your way.
I know you hoped for more... but it will come.... HANG IN THERE !!

Terri... Way to GO !!! 2.5 that is GREAT !!!

Angela... WOWZA !!! 7 lbs !!!! I am so proud of you.

And I forgot to post mine too.
Are you ready ? ... I lost 8 lbs !!!!

It is funny. I should be happier. But I know I have just been screwing around for the last 3-4 days. I am getting back to what the Turkey Commando says...

COMMITMENT and DISCIPLINE !!!

No more mess ups. No more "bites" here and there. No more excuses.
I am GOING TO DRINK MY 64oz water today. NO EXCEPTION !!!

Terri.. add my name to the next 2lb in 2 weeks challenge.

Thin
Gail
2Cute

Happy Anniversary Chris !!!

Thin, 2Cute, Terri: Congrats, congrats, congrats!

These Monday weigh-ins make for a great motivation Monday.

My motivation tip for the day: If you reward yourself for meeting goals, tell people! I'm wearing my 299-at-last bracelet, and every good friend I see has to hear that I gave it to myself for meeting a weight loss goal (I don't actually say what it was since they're all skinny people). Then they all congratulate me and say that I'm LOOKIN GOOD, chick! Only GOOD friends, mind you--I don't need those others talking to me about weight loss.

Good news! My back already feels a million times better! I don't know why really. I was laying in bed, I did some leg lifts and just relaxed for the past few hours. It still has a twinge of pain, but much much better - Good thing I didn't go to the doctors Huh?! Oh jee, I hope this isn't just cause I took aspirin

my main fear is not being able to exercise today, but I think even if my back gets better that i shouldn't work out in fear of hurting it more while its healing. B ut I'll still do leg lifts - that counts for something right?

CONGRATULATIONS!
To everybody! Whether you all lost weight or not in the two week challenge, I know all of us have been doing awesome I've seen such a change from when I joined here only 2-3 months ago.

2cute - just a question, is there a "Christmas Challenge" that involves a christmas tree and ornaments for each goal accomplished that day? I remembered you saying there was a theme for Christmas too (I think) and I thought that one up and wondered if it was that :P

I really enjoy the "marking" of each individual success of the day, I'm hoping to get a calendar as soon as possible - and do the same on it. With stickers, colored markers or anything. I'm also going to suggest it to my mother. Its a great way to remind yourself visually how you are doing. SO :grouhug: thank you

Golly Gee - you gals have been busy today!

Congrats to all the losers!

I am on my way home, but wanted to pop in and catch up on things. I didn't expect to have so much to catch up on. So, I'll have to finish later.

When I get home I am changing and heading to the gym for a cardio workout and then my deep water class!

Catch ya later on.

I'm here! Lost 2.5 on the two week challenge! It just doesn't seem fair that I could easily pack 2.5 lbs on with a hearty meal and it takes two whole weeks of work to take it off! grrrr...

Adding my name to next challenge list...

Thin
Gail

Angela
Michelle
Kat

Time to go make dinner...
