Off to see the surgeon today. Saw the cardio man yesterday...I think I love him. He told me I should live to be 100.
Looks like Isabel is going to just skirt by us, but gee some areas south are going to get hit hard. Remeber That Girl? Looks like she may get it...hope she is ok.
Have had a pretty productive day already. Got my workout in, made lunches, had my coffee, and ate my breakfast!! Im impressed with myself (this stuff usually takes me all morning)
Im going to have to take my rings in soon and have them resized. I almost lost my engagement ring in a customers bag yesterday. I caught it just at the tip of my finger! So I think thats on the agenda for this week!
Things at the store are going pretty good, we had a sales rep come in yesterday and she actually had some stuff that I really liked!! lol Not too frilly or fluffy, but good quality, unusual stuff. We will likely be placing some new orders with her in the next couple of weeks. Its getting exciting with the new stores on the block and christmas shopping season coming up quick.
Good Morning Everyone. Just popped by quick to say hello. Seems I have aquired the cold that is ever changing, today it has turned into a more flu like thing, fever, shakes, naseous, and of course the coughing which makes sleeping so difficult. Seems everyone is getting the change of season colds too. So taking a sick day today. Was going to take my engagement ring in to get sized today, lol, robin, but I guess that will have to wait.
Another beautiful day. I got some good news last night. DH has the weekend off. That doesn't happen too often. Of course he followed that news up with the fact that he has to work 12 hour days the rest of the week. Oh well, I'll take what I can get. Have a wonderful day!
Well, we started off the day by having to push my car out the driveway, get the truck out, and push the car back in. Battery or starter...blech. Fortunately, I work for an auto parts company, so I get a discount and a net 30 account.
On top of this, my brother and sister have to sign their lease today, and they're bound and determined to move tonight. Bah, at least I get to reclaim half my house!
Tummy: Hope you feel better soon! There seems to be a rash of that stuff going around over here...hopefully I won't be next!
Tummy - You feel better! You sound like I was last fall! Take it easy and drink lots of fluids! My DH has something similar too. He was home the last couple of days with nausea and a stuffy head. I am just hoping I dont get it!

Robin - I am glad things are going well at the store! The christmas season is my favorite! I cant imagine though how fun it would be to own a store during that time of year! I would be in heaven!

I wish we were going to have some sun! We have lots of rain! That is good though! We need it! My kids just dont like having "indoor recess" and boy do I get the complaints! LOL!
I am doing well today, a little tired with TOM and all, but doing good. As soon as the kiddos are off to school, I will be off to the gym! I missed out on Monday as my back was killing me but yesterday I started feeling better again! And today I am back to normal I think!
DD is having a play date after school today so I am not sure if I will be able to check in later! Everyone have a great day!

Went for a good 1/2 hour walk last night with my dauther, it was perfect weather here in the midwest for it. Hopefully tonight it will be just as good. Extended forcast is in my favor
Happy afternoon all! Have a touch of that season-change illness, and a ton of stomach troubles! The really cute guy at work keeps on complimenting me on my weight loss, I hate to tell him how fabulous I look when I'm not bloated out to here! Hmmm, maybe a trip to the doctor is in order? I'm really tired of being sick!
Sounds like my girl had the same thing as y'all last week. She missed 2 days of school and is still stuffy and head-achy.
I'm not feeling quite myself today either. Weak and fuzzy-headed. I'm pretty sure it's just because I was running late this morning and didn't have a proper breakfast. I grabbed a handful of almonds and a stick of string cheese! Naturally I started feeling hungry around 9:30, so I bought some little salami sticks from the snack machine. Thank goodness it's lunchtime finally. I'm sure I'll feel better soon. Wishing the same for everyone else who's under the weather.
I'm down 2 pounds today. YAE! Must be my increased activity in preparing for Isabel. I think I'm as prepared as I can be. I'm looking after my friends coon hound so at least my dog is amused and having fun. I'll try to get online and post tomorrow before Isabel starts pushing in. Gotta run and get insulation from attic washed off.

Hey all I am hanging in there bearly. Not too OP but with the exercise doing great.
I have been toying wqith the idea of doing BFL again but I am too afraid of getting those picts done. UGH life is now again at full tilt but with a twist. it is busier!!! I am heading to bed. I need to get back OP for eating I do great untill the night.

I have not read what is happening with all but hopefully I will catch up slowly if that is possible. I wish best wishes for those that need it and hope all is feeling well that is sick. and for those that are going well KUDOS!!!
You would all have been so proud of me. I was proud of myself. Today I had to chair a gathering of five women's groups in our area. As usual, the meeting begins with a 1/2 hour of coffee/tea/muffins, etc. I'd had a good bacon and egg breakfast so I managed with just a coffee.
For lunch break, we had a pot luck cold buffet and I only had a slice of ham, some smoked salmon and a bit of salad. There were lots of tempting things there too but I even missed dessert. When I came home I was hungry but nibbled on a cooked chicken breast. So, if I'm being so good, how come the weight isn't melting off? Well, it's gotta come off sooner or later. Right now I'm going to go and do my Body Flex which I had to miss this morning because I was running late.
