Hey all.
Well another week and still having to get blood level checked for blood thinner. It's a bit too high now. We'll get it right one of these days.... I hope!! This being poked at gets old quick. Well actually it was 3 weeks ago today when I ended up in the hospital.
I am feeling so much better. I started back to warm water therapy last friday. I am going to try and get back to going 5 days. I went yesterday and I am sitting here in my swimsuit getting ready to go today.
We had 2 to 3 inches of rain last night in about a hours time... was wondering at one point if I shoud go to Home Depot and buy supplies to build a ARK... lol

Up way to early on this Wednesday morning.

Diane........good for you...........you have fun! In my MUCH younger days, and during a down time in my weight, I liked to ride on the back of one, but never drove one. Okay, now don't tell me you will be in Sturgis next summer

Cindy don't send your rain our way. We have plenty of our own. Hope you continue to do well.

Finally, my son is going to get his car back today. The child (21 the 13th of September) is driving me bonkers Spoke to the owner of the body shop yesterday, she said the car looks wonderful, now if it will just drive properly

We were really, really afraid they would cancel our car insurance becasue of the accident my son had back in April. The child has been driving since he was almost 17 no accidents or tickets, but in the course of less than 3 months he has two accidents. The one in April, while he wasn't charged, it was his fault. He turned left in front of someone and since my son and the other guy were BOTH running yellow lights the officer did not ticket either of them. That accident, caused us to buy this Honda Accord, which was struck by this other lady 4 weeks ago (she was ticketed,)

Anyway..........spoke with a friend who had a teen driver, one accident, her fault. Their insurance company they had been with for over 17 years, no other accidents or tickets, did not renew them. In other words, "hit the road." Last I spoke to her she was trying to find insurance.

Our insurance company did not cancel us, but our premiums went up. Are you sitting down..............we pay $2,400.00 every 6 months!! We insure 3 cars and 4 drivers. OUCH! I guess I should be glad we have insurance, and glad we finally kicked the older son to his own policy.

Didn't sleep well last night, hubby left for a 2 week business trip to London. My daughter has been wanting to go with him to London for months now, and of course the first week of school he goes She reminded him that every first week of school for the last 4 years he has been out of town. Her 9th grade year he was in Brazil, 10th grade in Japan and 11th and 12th London.

I plan to use the next two weeks while he is gone to really work hard on dropping a few pounds. The darn scale keeps going between 211, 214, 211, 214. I want to get into the two-zero-something before he gets back. Not that he will notice, but just for me!

Hi everyone .. This will be a busy week for me.. I have to work 6 days straight with no day off ... congrats to peachie on her surgery you go girl... I am now down 65 pounds since surgery... I will be 5 months out on the 17th.. Hope everyone has a great week!

Well the son has his car back. It looks wonderful and he said it is running just fine........he is so glad to have it back, not sure if he would tell me if it wasn't.

Hazel and I are going to a support group meeting tonight. This will be our second time attending this group. Last month there was a lady there who tried to monopolize the whole meeting. Which from what I understand she tries to do every month. We'll see what happens tonight.

John has a new surgery buddy at work! Poor woman, she was fired from her job due to problems she had AFTER the surgery.

John was aware of this and went to search her out when she started her new job. He said she was so excited to have someone to talk to about the problems/issues after surgery, and what his eating plan was like. He also let her know they had another person in the area that had the surgery, so hopefully between the two of them they can get Kelly on the right track!

I have finally started to get the scale moving in the right direction again! It has taken getting back on a diet medication, but at this point I’m just glad to see those numbers moving in the right direction!

Wow, glad to hear Peachie is doing well and can't wait to see her back here and get the details!

As for me, my WLS consultation date has been moved AGAIN! Only this time I have to wait till December 29. Hey, look at this way, I'll definitely have broken 300 pounds by then and thensome So that isn't such a bad thing. Who knows, she may tell me I might not need the surgery anyway. I'll keep you posted on this little gem.

hey all,
well the sun finally showed it's face today!!!! And then we were one in the 5 million that lost power. Luckily only for a half hour at my house... but places in Toledo are still without power along with other city's around the eastern states. Man.. that was or is sure a strange happen !!!
I went to have another scan done on my right leg (this is the one that had clots) as I am having new bad pains in it. The scan I guess didn't show anything any different. The gal said it may be muscle pains since I am moving more now. I did get back into the warm water therapy. But to move on land it's very painful. I go back to see that same dr. next wednsday. He is the one who put the filter in. I saw him in the hall today, and he asked what was going on with me. He spoke to the gal who did the scan and then laughily said... your fine...stop your *****in... how funny. I said boy... I feel loved !!!!

So glad to hear Peachie is doing well... when will she get home???I can't wait to hear details !!!

Cathie ... congrad's on your 65 pound weight loss... that is so great !! keep up the good work !!!!

Hope everyone is having a good week....... it's almost the weekend time !!!

The power is on in NJ, what a freaky day/night yesterday. Everyone is fine. I spoke to Peach yesterday and she seems really in fantastic spirits and I got the feeling she can not wait to begin her journey she's such a doll.

WOW so sorry about any of you who were hit by the power outage! My sis who lives in CT is in Australia this week, so she and her family was not effected.

I;m going back to my rheumotologist this morning so hear the results of the blood tests he did three weeks ago. I'm looking for some miracle cure for whatever reason I've been feeling so lousley here lately.

DebKay If you want to here horror stories about car insurance, just ask me! We hat two insurance companies go belly up on us after we had paid those huge 2500 for 6 months premimums, and all that money was lost never to be recovered!!!
