Well ladies today is the day that we take a 2nd look at th house that we liked. I am excited and we are taking people with us so that will be fun! Last night was pretty uneventful other than my hideous mood swings from PMS. The BCP I am on has caused me not to feel the mood swings since I have been on it but this month . DH is cracking me up b/c he is just rollin' with the punches. Last night within a space of a 1/2 hr I think I apologized 2 times. Oh well at least I realize that I am evil.

I did manage to walk 4 miles yesterday and I didn't think I would get any exercise in so that was great. The weather cleared up long enough for me to get a mile in at work and then my last client no showed so I went home and did the WATP for abs 3 mile. Oh which brings to mind a question. Those of you who WATP. I have done the WATP for ABs a lot and was considering getting the regular version just to have different scenery what do you think? Is it a waste to do that b/c I know they are essentially the same but like I said I am sick of being able to quote Leslie Just looking for opinions? Thanks!

Well enough about me! How is everyone? What are your wknd plans?

hello!
i'm suffering this morning! went boozing with a few mates and ended up drinking till who knows when (at least midnight)! it was a very good laugh but not good for points or my liver!
plus i had to get up early to go pick up a cake for my friend's hen night. i'm being very unproductive at work. ah well. only 3 and a bit hours to go!!
becky - good luck with the house hunting!
jess - enjoy the wedding and stamp club! did you come up with a project?
belle - sorry to hear about your problems with your bloke, hope you sort them out ok. feel free to rant to us any time if it all gets a bit much.
lexxy - any gossip from cop week?! do you guys use the phrase "cop off"? as in kissing etc...
angie - just keep thinking of the money while you're stuck working... that's what i do when i've got overtime!
laura - that patio situation sounds awful, i do hope they fix it for you.
KT - hope your picnic goes well. the weather here is awful so our planned picnic for saturday is going to have to move indoors!
jenk - hello stranger! lovely to hear from you.

Kirsty, we don't use the phrase "cop off", but that would be funny! I think cop week is over now, I'm kind of glad. Four nights in a row was a bit much...It's crazy how irresponsible some of those cops are with their badges, I was wearing one last night and totally could have walked off with it. That could have gotten me out of a few tickets....

There were some cute ones of course, but they're all from out of town, so it's kind of hard to really meet anyone, but it was nice for a change of pace. The hugh grant lookalike never showed again =(. Ah well....

So I am kind of flirting with this CIA agent who I met through kickbal, so I'll keep you posted on that! I am also going to eat my way through my hangover. JenK, I'm getting Chipotles very soon!

Morning!

Finally dragged myself out of bed this morning -- 10 minutes before I had to leave for work! So I'm looking lovely this morning

Otherwise not much happening with me -- I'm craving Chinese food for tonight... Maybe I'll go and get some & only eat half or a third...

Becky -- Good luck on the house-hunt! I always love looking for new places to live, but in my case, it's always been apartments.

Kirsty -- Hope you survive the hangover -- I always manage to regret it the day after drinking, but while I'm out, I don't care!

Lexxy -- CIA agent, huh? Just by the job sounds like he should be hot! Glad to hear you survived cop week!

And hello to everyone else who's out there!

Almost forgot -- I weighed myself this morning and was down .5! Just barely though, the scale really didn't want to go that way!

OK, I dragged myself to WI yesterday....and....up 7lbs. Yup. Seven. I was up set, but I figure, it was obviously winnipeg - eating and eating to satisfy Grama...probably some water weight in there too....but I am changing my sig because I am on the straight and narrow.

I looked back at my WW books recorded weights and I realized that I have gone in spurts for the past few years. And the times when I lose the most are really when I go to the meetings...so...I will go to the meetings again and try to really stick with it. I mean, if I can lose the average of 1.8 Iwas losing before, I'd be down to goal this year nad then I can be lifetime!! Yay!!

So, expect my sig to change each week - I won't "avoid" changing if I have a setback.

Anyway, I was happy to see my setbacks are always temporary and that I have pretty much lost/maintained/lost/ maintained since July 2000 and lost about 45-50 lbs - pounds that have never come back!

Becky - your BCPthing made me laugh- I get moody when I change too - your DH sounds awesome!! Have fun checking out your new (potential) place!!

Kirsty - I have heard people say "cop a feel" but not "cop off" or "copping"....interesting expression!! I hope your hangover goes away. Do you have Victoria Day weekend this week?? Long weekend for us Canadians!!

Hey Lexxy- flirting with the CIA, eh....better watch your back!

Hey Angie! I love Chinese food too - but i get such bad pains in my stomach from it that I don't eat it anymore....Thai food though...mmmm...Thai...

Well, I should get to work - its a half day at my company and I've managed to do nothing all morning. Idid take my dog Barney to the groomers though -he was ripe!! Since he had surgery at easter, I was not able to bath him and he is one of those cocker-type dogs, so he gets right smelly. I can't wait to pick up my handsome, clean old man....!

Have a good weekend (long weekend for your Canucks!)

Morning everyone! I am VERY ready for my long weekend. I had a big meal last night (bad me) all carbs. I had a little bit of pasta, garlic bread and ceasar salad and my gut was telling me about it afterwards. But it was yummy and I got my laundry done. Yay clean clothes! And then I slept like a rock! I don't think the low carbs thing is for me. I'm going to add my morning cereal back in but keep avoiding the pasta and breads as much as I can. Once I've finished my final exam I can get back to the gym and that will be helpful.
Becky - Isn't it nice to have an excuse to be evil?
Kirsty - the weather's not looking too good for us either but we have a backup indoor plan so we'll see. Hope you have a fab "hen party"
Lexxy - CIA, sounds interesting...
Angie - sounds like a day for a baseball cap. But the extra sleep was probably nice.
Belle - 7# will be gone before you know it. Lots of water, walking the dogs, going to meetings...no problem.
OK - took way to long to write this. Hope everyone has a great weekend.

Becky - have fun looking at the house. I own 5 WATP tapes and often rent others from the library just for a change of pace. If I had the money, there are about 8 others I'd love to buy.

Kirsty - what exactly is "cop-off"? Is it the same as our "coping a feel"? I always want to eat my way out of hangover - in fact found myself doing that yesterday.

Lexxy - cops, CIA Agents, you go girl!

Angie - congrats on the .5. Good job. I really wish you hadn't mentioned Chinese though......

Belle - I'm jealous of your 1/2 day!

Busy at work - boss is in town 1 of only 2 days this month. Am going to a friend's graduation ceremony on Sat and won free tix to the Indy 500 Quals for Sun. Plus I had a load of mulch delivered today so I'll be busy this weekend. BTW - patio guy agreed to rip everything out and start from scratch on Monday - cross your fingers for me!

Have a good weekend.

We call it Victoria day. It's named after a queen. No real reason, just a day off to relieve some stress for employees.

Ok so it is Friday night 10PM and DH is watching the Pistons game. I am just not in the mood tonight so I thought that I would log on and tell you ladies that I think we may have found the house! I am sooooooo thrilled. The seller is anxious to move b/c they have another house and is throwing in the appliances, including the dishwasher and taking care of the inspection repairs. So I guess I will know for sure if we are moving by next week. OK sorry to talk house again but I was so excited.

Eating wise we went to Applebees and I got the Honey grilled chicken meal. I guess that is kinda bad b/c I ate until stuffed but I still brought 1 chicken breast home. I also made brownies but have only had one thus far. I am hoping DH will hog them down and I won't Well I think I am going to read so I will talk to you on Monday. Such a glamorous party girl life I lead
