Default Blue Team 2012 Fall Back To Basics Chat Thread Week 12 (11/12-11/18)

Well 2 weeks left of the challenge and we are down to just 6 of us left. I think we all deserve a very big pat on the back for staying the course:

So I didn't post the nutrition thread this time as no one has used it the last three or four weeks. If anyone does want it let me know and I will post it no problem at all.

I just updated my exercise thread from last week and I actuall worked out 4x instead of the 3 I thought it was so WOOHOO for me. Plus the crazy work schedule and doing everything at the house (up and down the stairs constantly). I guess it all added up to helping counter balance the crazy eating I did

Well it's 9:30 and just finished the dishes and making my lunch for tomorrow and getting mom stocked up with food for tomorrow so I'm going to relax and play a couple mindless games on the iPad and then turn in....just to do it all over again tomorrow

Goodnight Blue Team

We may only be 6 left but we must be the mighty 6 since the blue team won this week. Way to go!!!! Congratulations to Angie and Leslie for doing such a great job. I was getting discouraged because I have had a couple of weeks of maintenance, until I looked back to my weight at the beginning of the challenge. Even if I maintain the next two weeks I'm still down overall so I can't beat myself up over that.

Have a good week if I don't make it back this week.

Just popping in for a quick hello. I have to leave for work in a second but wanted to say I think I'm on track so far this week.
I didn't exercise yesterday was at work long hours then got home made supper and was in bed by 9....it was a very long, mentaly challenging day yesterday. I sure hope today goes better.
On the treadmill tonight though

Have a great day everyone

Hello how is everyone's day going so far?

Mine started off a little bad as I (for some reason) stepped on the scale and had a gain
Then I had coffee, some water and then jumped on the treadmill for a 8k in Victoria, BC. The street view didn't work though so never actually got to see the sights or the water.....
Most amazing thing is I actually ran for a full 5k (3.10miles).....I've never ran that far straight before. I felt awesome. Then did some run/walks to finish out. 63min and 720 calories burned. WooHoo

Well taking mom to get her staples removed today then not sure what's up for the rest of my day.

Question do any of you want to have a challenge over the holidays or is a chat thread good. PM me or post on here with your thoughts.

I wanna do a challenge to stay on track. I need it since I am moving to AZ after the holidays. This week has sucked for me. Looking at the weights I post the week before TOM I always go up a significant amount.

BigMid - I want one of the treadmills that have the feature you are talking about. plus where Jillian is my trainer. I am proud of you on your running the whole 5k!!! CONGRATS!

Hope everyone is doing well! I wasn't going to share until I knew if it was happening or not, but I'm going to the doctor in a few days to talk about WLS. I've thoroughly done my research so I'm certainly not looking to it as an 'easy way out', but rather a tool to work with, not a tool that does the work. Anyway, it's still very much up in the air, but fingers crossed!

Bigmid - Congrats on the 5k! What a huge accomplishment, you should definitely be proud!

If we had a competition I'm not too sure I'd join, but either way I'll probably be lurking around through the holidays!

I think a competition during the holidays could be helpful.

Happy Sunday Blue Team !

Hope everyone had a great week. I had a really good week with 5 days of exercise and staying completely onplan eatingwise. This week will be a bit of a challenge with Thanksgiving but the exercise days are firmly in place and I have a Dietitian appointment tomorrow which really helps me as far as accountability. Hard to believe this challenge is almost over and Vegas is only a week away. This time of year seems to woosh by way too quickly.

Have a great weigh-in Team !!
