Good cool -11 morning to you all, it is now 5:12 am and I am ready for the second cup of coffee for the day.

Jenni p -The reason you don't have snow is because we have it all. More comming on Friday, we don't know where we are going to put it

Mis- I have a fitness flyer, I thought it was called a fitness rider, is it the same? Never used the thing. I hope that when you go to your Dr. appointment you get great results, let us know. My Dr. never weighs me?

Dyan, are pilates hard? They seem to be for people who are in shape?

Oh Nelie great going-Breath a little for me.

To the rest of the chicks, Have a large slice of the day, I am going to do a little training in the old WHMIS today.

God is not too great to
be concerned about our

Dyan, my sister, who lost 110 pounds on low-carb and has kept if off for almost 2 years....and who by the way lives in Florida........whew, what a long sentance, is a HUGE pilates fan. She swears by it, that and a belly-dancing tape. I'm not kidding!!

*&%#)(@^!%, me grouching that, exercise and upping the protein really do work. I'm into virgin fat right now!!!

Have a good day all

Hello ladies,

Just flyin by, this week is crazy. Monday had to do a large background for 4th grade performance on Thursday. Tuesday set up for pinewood derby, Wednesday pinewood derby and a visitation for a friend's mother's funeral. Thursday, the funeral, Don's performance at 7:00 and Darren's first reconciliation at 7:00 also, so I have to go to Don's performance during school (he does a rehersal at 2:00). Friday I have off for a hair cut and Darren's Un-birthday celebration at school. He has a summer birthday so he get to pick a date to celebrate his un-birthday at school and we choose 1/31 because he will be 7 1/2.

On top of all of this I have one of those persistant coughs that get really bad when I hit the cold air.

love you all!

Good Morning everyone!

Ever have a reluctant furnace man? I do--he won't be paid! My dh and I keep asking him and he won't tell us how much we owe him! He's a friend of ours and he knows we're going througha tight spell and he isn't willing to tell us a price. Judging for all the work he did, I am telling dh to write a cheque for $400 and give it to him. After all, I still want them as my friend! And boy did he ever do a LOT of work. My furnace was clogged right up and we was working at it for a solid 3 hours. Then there was parts and everything else. Money worth sopending, my home is nice and cozy now!

M's at daycare all day today and I can get caught up on soooo many projects that have gotten left behind. Visit to the new insurance agent and a quick call to the dealership to see if my bumper arrived yet. Best thing of all, I staved off the snackies by eating left over roast beef! let's hope it keeps up for today!

Robin, I heard on the raido that the memorial service for your friends is at 2 o'clock today at the Soo armory. Will be thinking of them today....

taz, I still say you're a hero for donating so much blood.

Jenny, just enjoy your haircut this Friday, OK

L, we must be thinking the same thing! I hit the dollar store yesterday for little Valentines bags to put candy in and some cards for Miree to take to her class.

Deb, way to go on being in virgin fat! I am dreaming of getting there, dang PCOS is holding me up!

Sherrie, how did the bosses take the news about the operation switch?

Have a great day to one and all

Drat! Gone for good and can't get it back.

Anyhow, I need to get cracking this morning as I have spent too darn much time on the Net the past two days. I need to ration myself!

Opened the dishwasher this morning to unload and found that Lucy had stashed her nylon bone in there! It sure is clean but the dishes are now being run through again! It's hard to dig a hole in the floor so she "buried" it there! Silly puppy!

Taz, what the heck is a the old WHMIS? that is going to keep me speculating all day.

L144S, I need to do that kind of shopping too. Would you call me next time for my list? We usually put off the trip to WallyWorld until we are nearly out of TP or paper towels.

Deb-kay, congrats on hitting virgin fat. I bet we get some questions from newbies about that comment!

Dondar, you are so busy! How on earth do you do so much SuperMom stuff and still work? Having an un-birthday for Darren is a great idea.

I hear rumours that this cold weather may moderate by the weekend. Bikini weather when the temp gets to just above freezing. It sure has been a really cold spell.

Have to get cracking.

Have a large slice of a day, as Taz says!

Ruth, WHMIS is the hazardous material list given out by the government as guidelines for each compnay that has these substances on their premises to follow. In conjuction with this is the MSDS, a book of the "material safety data sheets" that tells employees about these substances and can be accessed by anyone on the premises. All very governmental and the law. Just call me jaqueline of all trades as to how I know this

Had a few minutes before going to the club for my morning exercise.

I'm back on the lc wagon for good this time. After my talk with my doc, I'm even more convinced that that it the healthiest way to go, No matter what the Federal Government says. And yes I know reading too m uch is what gets me in trouble, but I can't seem to quit. I've just bought two new books. ATKINS for Life and The Good Fat Book. Book reports will follow someday.

Yesterday was our 37th anniversary (our marriage is the same age as the super bowl!!! makes it easy to remember the number).
We went to a really quite "American/French Bistro" for dinner and it was super nice. Had a great time. No I did not stay on program, but it was good.

Well times up. I'll try to check in later.

Gee, Pooky. You snuck in on me. I'm still very confused about Taz's comment. And I'm now more confused by your explanation.
So exactly what is Taz doing? The mind boggles!

Default Good Morning Chicks

This was the first time in a long time, That i woke up feeling as if i really got a good night sleep. Wow feel's great Was a little warmer here yesterday & today too. And the sun shine make all the differance.

Taz; 56 pint's that's wonderful Every time i go to donate, I'm told no! Why because my Mother had Hepititis C, Even though she was never contagis(sp) to us & I went and had blood test to show them that i did not have it. I told her Dr about this and he said he will check into it, he does not see any reason why i can't. Nice job on what you have done

Ruthxxx; What kind of dog do you have???

Have a great sunshine filled day everyone.

Morning All--
Well having some sausage and eggs this morning--and I must say--YUM!!

Legs are even more sore today, having a very hard time going DOWN the steps--I'm thinking about breaking out the old tae-bo tape this afternoon as the treadmill is getting--B-O-R-I-N-G- I even took a book in with me yesterday and still could only do a mile--not because I was tired--I was just bored-CD player blasting-reading a book, and kids running around-how can all that be boring?

Was it Linda who asked about the Fitness Flyer vs. Fitness Rider? I'm not sure if they are the same-I bought the flyer off of an infomercial late one night, you stand up on it and move your legs out and back and also your arms-it has a timer and a calorie burner on it--really it wasn't a bad machine.

Also Linda--I am sorry for what you are going thru--I read up on the Xenical last year-I was debating whether to take it or not after my Dr. refused to let me take Adipex--I did not end up doing it because of the cost, It was gonna be like $100 a month for--way more thn I was willing to spend!

Ageoldie--and Happy Belated Anniversary!! Here's to another 37 GREAt years!!! I pray I make it that long!

I need to look up these protein shakes--do you all buy the protein powder at the health food store?

Well all--I gotta POGO!!

mis

Morning everyone,

Last night I went to dinner at an italian restaurant with a friend. They put a whole loaf of warm fresh hot bread in front of us. I ate a small piece. Then I decided to go to the gym for 1 hr 45 mins then I did yoga before bed. Of course going to bed later than usual threw me off and I forgot to set my alarm, so I was late for work.

I saw someone mention pilates, it is pretty good stuff. Takes some modifying to do if you are a big girl (or guy)

Have a good day today everyone

I loved Pilates. It was hard, I won't lie, but to leave the class and know that I made a honest effort to do the poses felt great. The hardest part for me was the thinking. You have to really think about holding in your abs, your stance, and you breathing.

I made real progress yesterday. I ran 1/4 mile during my walk. I felt like my lungs would explode, but I made it. I haven't ran since high school gym class. Now I remember why. I'm determined to keep at it though. I want to run/walk a 5K sometime this year.

BRAVO Pooky! You know what MSDS and WHMIS stand for, so few do. MSDSs are the heart and soul of my job, I write and distribute MSDSs for a large Pharmaceutical company.

Also, regarding WHMIS, it is a Canadian regulation.
