I got my CSA share today and it had tons of good veggies and also a growler of awesome homemade beer. Roasted beets for dinner. Still not sure about the beet greens, though -- a little bitter for me.
I'm still recovering from whatever post-vacation illness I have. I am SO EXHAUSTED and I have to work every day this week. Boo.

Jinksie – I always do that when I crave Chinese Food. I like the smell more than I like the taste lol.

Catahoula – I know, you’re the first person I’ve seen from here. I live in Marrero. How about you?

MrsD
– I definitely prefer short graduations. All of my mine were so long and drawn out that it wasn’t enjoyable.

Spooky – I really need to go to the local farmer’s market. I’ve actually never been.

So I’m actually really excited about weigh in on Friday. I sneaked a look at the scale today (I’m used to weighing every day) and I am down 2 lbs so far. I’m hoping it sticks. And I was excited today, my WW kit came in the mail. So now I have the Ultimate 3 month tracker, the dining out companion, and the complete food companion. If anyone else has any suggestions for other materials that have really helped I would love to know. I’m thinking about buying their food scale since the kit came with a $5 coupon.

I am pretty annoyed about being up this week. I actually never used all my points this week. I was between 7-11 under each day this week. I wonder if that was a problem. Not eating enough? That's annoying!

LiveLaugh You're the only person on here from NOLA that Ive seen too. I'm in Lakeview.

I was down 1.8 this week! I'm happy about that. It's still early but I'm down 6.8 in 3 weeks. I'm a slow loser so I'm really happy.

Catahoula--You are spot on! Make sure you're eating at least 29 points in a day, but the closer to your target the better!!

I decided to switch meetings to Mondays. I'm not weighing in again until 6-27, but looking forward to it because I have a ton of exercise scheduled for this week.

Hoping I can hop on too! I don't weigh in til Thursday. Hoping that upping my intake helped this week and I drop some weight again. My body is so confused most of the time.

Congrats Proatthis!

Spooky I'm jealous of your CSA! We have one here but I just can't afford or justify it right now because it is so much greens! I'm just not there yet.

I went to run last light, it was so HARD this time, I had to walk a part of the road.

I hate our location, everywhere around us is only HILLS, HILLS and HILLS. So my first half of me run is an elevation of 1,25 km Not a ''big'' one, but it's like neverending...

I'm moving in 8 days, let's hope my new neighberhood is gonna be flatter :/

To the ones that are up this week: I hate when I go up or my weight loss stalls a bit. I know it's inevitable during our weight loss journeys. I agree with taking your points up to 29 at least and shaking things up that way. Also if you eat the same things (not sure if anyone does or not) but to really switch up the foods too. Good luck this week.

Patchymama: good luck with your weigh in on Thursday. It's good to keep the body confused!

MrsD: I go to Tuesday morning meetings and I really like the early week weigh ins. Keeps me in check mostly for the weekends. Also I was wondering if you went to your zumba class?

Jinksie: how much under do you eat to lose? Do you find your hungry or is it just where you are satisfied?

Catahoula – I actually know quite a few people who lose better if they actually eat all their points, so that might be why.

Proatthis – Congrats on the loss. I’m a slow loser too so I’ll take anything I can get lol.

Turbo – I can’t imagine having to run up and down hills. I can barely even run as it is on a flat surface without my knee trying to slide out of place.

So I've actually eaten pretty healthy so far today. For breakfast I had scrambled egg whites with 2 pc. whole wheat bread with some Nutella. Then for lunch I had a spinach and arugala salad with some bacon bits and croutons and fat free french dressing. I have 20 points left for today, so definitely should be able to have a snack and dinner without going over.

So last night I decided to have a treat after dinner to get closer to my 29, but then ended up going over by 2. Oh well it was worth it. I baked a boxed carrot cake with diet sprite, but I guess I didn't spray the pan well enough and half of it stuck. So I have a Tupperware filled with carrot cake crumbles. I did a little of that sprinkled over 110 grams of SF FF Blue Bell vanilla ice cream. Talk about good!! Hopefully eating all my points this week will help. I can't seem to make sense of this weeks gain.
