Default General Physical Changes in Every Day Life

So, after losing some weight, what have you noticed in your daily life little things that wow I couldnt do this before.

When getting out of a chair thats low, its easy up and your out. No grabing the side arm to hoist you a little bit.

Going up a few stairs is effortless, and I seem to do it standing with a little more pride.

Have bought some boots that were a little higher in the heel, and loved how they felt, with way less wobble to the side lol.

Love seeing my colar bones, in different clothes. Just waitting for the rest to catch up now.

I can sit down on the floor and get up nice and smooth and not look like I"m not going to make it. Putting on shoes and bending down to tie them is a nice feeling. Its like wow I remember doing this stuff years ago.

Anyone else notice little subtle changes in their lifes that are so small outside but inside are like a litle bag of coins that keeps getting fuller each week?

Putting on my shoes and work boots in the morning is much easier and can do it without having to hold my breath.

We have stairs to our office that weren't really a chore before but sometimes would make me breathe heavy after coming up especially in a rush. Now I find myself taking them 2 at a time and no issues. Love it.

Playing on the floor with my children is more fun and I do not feel like a beached whale. I can put my son on my belly and he sits level and now a sits a bit down towards my waist where he used to be falling into my head as my belly was big.

I do pushups with my 5 year old on my back. She loves to do this with me.

aww so cute Juiceman. I remember too now sucking in my breath when doing up my shoes. Funny when we gain weight we make changes with out trying to make a big thing out it. Then when you lose its like wow a new world.

A few things I hav noticed:

My office is on the 3rd floor, I now take the stairs 90% of the time and don't feel out of breath.

Crouching.. I know this sounds odd, but I was never able to sqwat. I could never balance or push myself back up straight. Now I am working on building better balance.

my thighs don't spill over seats. This is something I noticed the other day when I was getting into the car and it was -30's. I didn't have the cold door touching my leg.

Crossing my legs.

I no longer fear the dreaded plastic lawn chairs or chairs with arms.

I'm sure there are other things that I have started to take for granted. I think it's good to look back and see how far we have come.

There are so many things...I too like seeing my collarbones! Yesterday, at an event, I wasn't the biggest person there, and that felt wonderful! I really did want to go up to a couple of people and tell them about IP, lol. I don't stress out (as much) when someone parks closer to me than I'd like. I can race my son up the stairs at home. I actually had to adjust my driver's seat because it was so far back to accomodate my belly! I never really noticed until yesterday that I was far away.

I too do not have fears of non sturdy chairs. I had deformed a few bag chairs in my day and had to purchase those extra sturdy ones. I feel now I would not worry about that.

Those plastic lawn chairs always made me feel nervous, afraid one of the legs would give out. This summer though watch out lol..

Its nice to be not the biggest person when you go somewhere. Did you ever notice how many people (women) more then men that like to hang out with heavier people. Its like it almost makes them feel better or maybe sorry for me. When I was skinny like about 100 years ago lol girls didnt want to hang around me, but now I have tons of friends lol.....wonders what will happen this summer. I hope a few stick around, if not well my bg will just get all the extra loving and attention, and he will eat that up

I love running up the stairs... I used to be breathless halfway up!

I enjoy playing outside with my kids. I used to just sit in a lawn chair and watch.

I used to have terrible pain in my feet and ankles... I am pain free.

Why didn't I do this sooner?

OK so this might be TMI but one of the first things I noticed is that I can shave my bikini line without having to lift and hold my tummy out of the way.

That is a HUGE accomplishment! I can't wait to do the same thing.

I was just looking at your progress pictures - so inspiring! I'm just starting out and we're about the same height (and around your starting weight). I can't wait to see the same progress! Congratulations!!!! You look AMAZING!

This is just my 4th week OP but I started feeling some difference even the first week. My knees don't hurt like they had for years. I used to take our few front steps one at a time - leading with the leg that didn't hurt as much. Now I can just walk up them. I actually jogged up the stairs to the elementary school yesterday. Wow - what a great feeling!
I've noticed that there is more room in my chair at home. When one of my kids sits on my lap, they are getting closer to me!
I feel so much better that I am so tempted to tell people about IP when I see them huffing and puffing along.
