My absolute fave so far (about 30 lbs down) is crossing my legs. Instead of it being a chore (picture me hiking my leg over and concentrating on keeping it that way), now it's just the comfortable way for me to sit these days. Love it!

Also, my knees don't hurt anymore, I can sit on the floor and play more comfortably with my 2 year old and I have more energy.

i can go up and down stairs with our huffing and puffing
i sit in my big chair with my leg up along the side now and i am comfortable
i can get out of bed in the morning and not be too tired once i get out.
i can stand on my feet my 8 hours at work and not even notice anymore pain.
(and i don't keep looking at the clock anymore for time to go faster because my feet hurt)
my niece and i can play on the floor with her trains and i can bend forward and not be out of breath to grab a train.

Definitely crossing my legs. I used to cross my legs with my knee out to the side like a guy - now I can cross them with my leg hanging down, it feels like it looks better. Just feeling more feminine in general - not so big, so lumbering, so sizeable. As I gained weight I changed my behavior to a larger presence, a larger voice, and because I was unhappy - I was probably a little less nice to people. Brusque. I can see that in another 20 lbs. or so, I might wear a (low) high heel. But I wasn't comfortable attempting pretty or feminine as a large girl. Felt like an elephant in a tutu or a pig wearing lipstick. I wore basically the same clothes (large linen shirts and black pants) for almost a decade. I used to be (80 lbs ago) stylish and a clotheshorse - I've kept some of those more timeless pieces of clothing and I don't know if I'll be able to step back into being "pretty". The concept of it is so foreign. I feel like the people who know me as a fat person will laugh at me. I'll feel like a poseur. But these are psychological aspects and this is supposed to be physical - they're just so tied together.

Another one is when I wear shirts with wide horizontal stripes, they stay uniform and straight around my mid section. Before they all looked like they were tilted due to my belly. Shirts now stay tucked in!
