Default My Child Finally Said She Was Proud
Okay, so my child is a 19 year old who rarely says anything about my weight loss. She's been pretty passive about the whole thing. Today I told her I had hit the 170's and she finally said she was proud of me ~ but still didn't want me to date or do what dating people do It took over 70 pounds and the 170s for her to finally say it. I'll take it. I'm glad she's finally proud and apparently happy I don't stink any more. Actually, I get what she's saying. When I was heavy I didn't shower every day and I didn't care what people thought. Now I do and I'm glad she's proud and I have pride in myself.

Isn't is cool? It's weird but when my 14 year old son says I look good it means more to me than if I met George Clooney and he said it. Congrats!!

IDK ~ George or my child....hmmmm.....I'm thinking George but I've been in love with him almost longer than I've had my child.

It is great when our children acknowledge us.
