My Child Finally Said She Was Proud
 

Okay, so my child is a 19 year old who rarely says anything about my weight loss. She's been pretty passive about the whole thing. Today I told her I had hit the 170's and she finally said she was proud of me ~ but still didn't want me to date or do what dating people do :lol: It took over 70 pounds and the 170s for her to finally say it. I'll take it. I'm glad she's finally proud and apparently happy I don't stink any more. Actually, I get what she's saying. When I was heavy I didn't shower every day and I didn't care what people thought. Now I do and I'm glad she's proud and I have pride in myself.

Isn't is cool? It's weird but when my 14 year old son says I look good it means more to me than if I met George Clooney and he said it.:D Congrats!!:D

IDK ~ George or my child....hmmmm.....I'm thinking George but I've been in love with him almost longer than I've had my child. :lol:

It is great when our children acknowledge us.
