I wanted to get a jump on things so that I/we can wish Sherri well with her surgury today.

Hey Sherri, here is something to make you smile I would deliver them in person if I could along with . Hey, it's a good thing the electricity went out yesterday and not today, huh??? I am so glad we have a woodburner to help out when that happens to us. Yep, we do take A LOT for granted!! Not being able to eat won't be that bad. So many times I think it is psychological......you know when your told you can't have something, you want it more. You will be fine and that much further ahead of the weight game.
OK, now you take care of you and I sincerely hope they figure out what is causing your pain. My thoughts and prayers will be with you.

Good morning all, I hope you are all keeping warm. I never complain about the few "cool" days we have here. Compared to the weather some of you have it is nothing.
We all wish the best for Sherri. I talked to her for awhile on IM last night. It didn't help that she had no power last night.Hopefully it came back on
Hope all are ok. I seem to be doing better. The scale will tell it all on Thursday.Some of us do let that scale run our lives

Eleni- I know what you mean about the scale controlling us. Even though i know that i've done well I still wonder if it will be kind. But i've found out that stresses me out too much. Last week wasn't the best week ive had in the past 4 weeks, but i was still able to walk away with a loss. It's worse when i know i don't do good and get on that thing, like it's got some magic powers to show me this great weight loss when i don't deserve it, know deep down, that i'm not disappointed with the scale it's self, but with me. Because I know what to do, I know I'm changing things, but yet, i wait to long to eat, or I have this habit of eating while watching tv. Ya think it might have anything to do with we've conditioned ourselves to eat our dinner in front of the tv. So just hang in there, the progress you are making will show up. You will have a new pattern, and you will have a new you.
Summer-hope dd is doing better. Great job on the bike the other day.
Well all christmas is almost here. Can you image. I haven't even started with the shopping yet. We were going to go the day after Thanksgiving with my sister, but the inlaws yesterday invited us over for games and stuff on Friday. Hubby has to work, but I don't. I still may do a little. I wil have to check with everyone see what they are doing. Well all is well here, and I plan on losing more next week. Even though I lost this week, I know what to do. I just have to do it. Everyone hang in there. We will be thin.

Hi Everyone,

Sherri.....Hope you are doing okay and that the surgery went well and that they found the problem. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

I've had a good day. It's my birthday and one of my friends took me out to lunch and my family took me out to dinner. I am now stuffed. (That fried ice cream was delicious) I haven't been eating very sensible for several days, but now its time to get back on track.

Summer, Our AC had spoke at our chapter about 2 years ago. She said that our chapter was the very first that she visited after becoming an area captain. She has also given a workshop at our meeting place and wants us to host another soon.

Hope you are all doing well. I must go now. I'm expecting a phone call.
