Default January WW: What was your exercise today?

Hello Everyone! Welcome, whether you are a workout fanatic from way back, or if you are starting a new year's resolution to live a more active life.

I plan to train most days, and get on my yoga mat (even it it's only for 10 minutes) everyday.

Today I did a Firm 30 min strength training DVD plus 10 minutes of yoga.

Tomorrow I will be running either outdoors on a trail or on the treadmill if I can't handle the temperature.

What do you do for exercise?

Hi & Happy New Year!!

Today I went to the gym for an hour and ran/walked, I would have stayed longer but it was closing early since it's a holiday.

Next week I'll be doing a 90 minute Spin Class on Monday evenings, 4 Zumba classes on Tuesday, Thursday (2 in one day), and Saturdays, and strength training with my trainer on Wednesdays =D On the other days I'll probably do an hour or two of cardio on the treadmill or elliptical.

About 20 minutes of elliptical.

Would have been longer, but wasn't feeling really well.

Day one of the 30 Day Shred. Ouch! I plan to do 30DS every other day while filling up the rest of my workouts with yoga, zumba, long walks and C25K.

Yesterday was an hour and a half of yoga - the restorative kind, we barely got off the floor and I had my eyes closed most of the time. It was heavenly!

Then I went for an hour walk in the woods.

Today's plan: hour walk around the neighborhood.

Awesome work everyone!!

I love restorative yoga. It's my favorite, well, tied with Moksha hot yoga. I prefer those 2 over flow or strength classes. My friend owns a great studio and I love her and the classes there but I mostly practice at home by myself.

Today's exercise: 5k trail run, 35 minutes. There were icy patches and some of those clumpy icy snow bits and I hate those, they slowed me down.
Followed by 10 minutes of yoga focusing on leg stretching.

what a great thread!! Ok I'm new to exercise again since I've neglected it for many months now so I gotta start out slow or I'm gonna hurt myself, LOL.. but yesterday I got the Get Fit with Mel B for the ps3 move system and I tried the cardio test on it, made it about 5 min before my chest felt like it was gonna explode! Today I plan on doing The Firm, I dusted off my TransFirmer step thingies so I'm ready for a good sweating workout.
I want to do something different every day of the week so I never get bored, I have pilates, treadmill and stationary bike, The firm, exercise ball dvds, etc etc so I have no excuses to not do something at least 3-5 times a week so that is my plan, I would love this to be our daily thread to post what we did though for accountability

Hi Spryng, that's great, I did make this thread for a daily post.
I have a transfirmer too, I used it yesterday for my strength training. I did supercharged sculpting.

I just found out that EA Sports Active is on sale for 40% off right now at Best Buy. I've been look at it and might pick it up today if I can find it. Doing videos at home can get so repetitive.

Hi Peanutt, did you end up get EA sports active?

Any exercise for people today?

I did a 55 minute transfirmer DVD for strength and cardio.
