I did really well this week (til yesterday that is - last day at current job and co-workers gave me a lovely lunch including that I guiltlessly partook of - and gained back the pound I'd lost this week, but hey I'm back on track now

). What was interesting is that Monday - Thursday I ate well and had no extra sweets or sugar. Friday at lunch, the only sweets I had was a large piece of the Heath Bar Cake my co-worker made - The cake was the only thing I'd had that was really "bad" - and later that afternoon - I felt strangely lethargic, a bit grumpy, and generally yucky. I'd had the feeling before but had never connected it to sugar before! I feel like such a dolt for never recognizing this before!

Anyone else ever experienced such a revelation?
