Default Mornin'

Hi Leens and lurkers ( yes Meg I know you are lurking),

Tell that boss to go away already, will ya? Can't have her taking up so much of your time. When is her next vacation? I am glad you are starting slow Leens, keep persisting. You only fail if you give up.. you don't fail when you stumble, just when you lie there and let dust settle on top of you I started with 15 minutes of aerobics 3 times a week.. and now at 45 5 times a week, with a 6th day of heavy gardening work usually. You will get there. It may be 3 steps forward and 2 steps back, but each minute is a new beginning.

And when you are wanting to snack or overeat at mealtimes, ask yourself.. "what am I really hungry for?" If you are lonely or tired, grab that cute hubby of yours. Or grab your daughter, or grab Susie!! Give em a a big smooch , well maybe not Susie

I bit the bullet and made a doctor's appointment for next month. I had to do it as my primary care physician has left the practice and I need someone to renew my prescriptions. I just hate going to new doctors... sigh. Oh well, now I need to lose 50 pounds in 5 weeks... hahahahahahaaaaaaaaa. I am sorry, I had to say that. Yes I wish that could happen, but I know it isn't... drats, grr.. boo hiss. I am going to talk to her about the anti d I am on. Even though it is working well for me, there have been some negative reports about the effects of this drug in past year. At the very least, I would think she would want a blood test to see if I have been effected. Unless of course, the reports are over dramatized, which they often are.

So that's all that is new and exciting in my life, except my car radio died on Friday and commuting is BORING with no noise!! I don't have time now to take it in and get it fixed, so I may buy a cheapie radio to take in car to work to keep me entertained. Dinner tonight is baked pesto catfish and veggies, with probably grilled squash on the side.. mmmmm.

I don't envy you one bit...its like you just want to bring a tape recorder with you and play it for every stinking new doctor can you imagine. Dr. says so how are you....click !! To bad we just couldn't email them

CATFISH.......shhhhhhhhhhh don't tell Zoonie...

I never had catfish nor do I have the desire to try it but that doesn't mean I'm grossed out by it, some day I might. Hey I went from only tuna fish when I was younger to trying....sward, flounder, halibit, tuna steaks mmmm, orange roughie (sp?)...not to shabby...but you can keep the shell fish......eeeeeeeeeew. Big old bugs that they look like ~ ~ shivers ~ ~

Default Making a list

Hey Leens,

I am making a list of all my maladies and am just going to hand her the list. That way stuff she wants to hear more about she can.. hopefully it will be a timesaver.

Catfish is very yummy. Its a mild fairly firm whitefish. The first time I ever had it, it as deep fried.. but we don't go there anymore. I love shellfish.. mmm mmm yummy good bugs.
