I really don't know, Stacy, but it occurs to me that the question may take care of itself, depending on how well you body can handle the gas issue!
I have been using really well- rinsed cans of my favorite beans...like black beans and garbanzo (chick peas) along with hominy and sweet corn and lots of different colored peppers ..all thrown in with Basmati brown rice and salsa, and not worrying about quantity..there is so much fiber in that combination that portion control takes care of itself....
The stuff really fills me up......oatmeal really does too....when I do a phase I day really close to program, I am getting 1300 to 1400 calories and more than 35 gms. of fiber.....that is a smashing good day!
