Default Milk and Yogurt in the EFS plan?

The book says to have a glass of milk (skim) and a yogurt (light) daily. Do those count as your two snacks??? Today was my first day and I counted the yogurt as a snack but not my glass of milk. Anyone know?? Thanks!

The book is unclear on many points such as this and it says you "can" have yogurt or milk during the day. I take this to mean that you can have theses things in addition to your normal 4 meals and two snacks. I personally consider the yogurt to be a snack, especially since I am in the slow-losers category. I think you need to try it and see how your body reacts. I think the main thing is get the calcium you need. If you find that you're not losing the way you want, then start counting the milk as a snack instead of an extra. However, this diet is so low in calories, I don't think that a nonfat yougurt or a nonfat milk serving is really going to hurt too much.

Hope this helps some!
