WELCOME HOME SHAD!!!! Oh it must be so great to be in your own bed for the weekend at least! I see your egg is on...are you there or are you pretending?

Gosh I am at home too, it is freezing, I guess switching off one heater (leaving one on) and there being no human activity to speak of all week has not generated much heat to cope with the snowy blizzards we are having at the moment..oooh quick pause there to let Holly out for a reluctant weeeeee. She asked to go out, stopped on the doorstep,

decided there were no cats to annoy

and turned round to come back in....persuaded by mum with a gentle push to get out there she did spend a penny. It is such a beautiful clear night with twinkling stars and a half-moon.

Snow still on the ground but not much.Gorgeous but far too cold to hang around start gazing....
Well I have joined in with the old crock's injury club. I have hurt my back, I think I strained it putting my shopping away and unpacking...and doing something stupid which I MAY confess later!

Mel I hope your neck feels better soon...I can't imagine what it felt like to have a shower with White Tea and Lavender..what did you smell like afterwards? What is white tea, exactly?
Happy...thanks for your thoughts on the meds and the scales saga...now I am home I have been so OP today it is scary! A good soak in a beautiful smelling bath of hot, hot (

) water, with a good book and soft candles flickering on the rim sounds absolutely wonderful.

Unfortunately, I am like Mel..I might need the firemen's watch to haul me out...not a pretty sight!
Shaker....that blinking dress sounds a complete and utter nightmare...can't you and the other bridesmaid get together and refuse to wear those hideous things? Remind me now...what colour is it?
Shad, I hope you have a good weekend in your own home...goodness me you were a bit "Ms. Ultra Organised" before jetting home for the weekend...super job not to have to lug washing home and then all the way back again. You are getting well practised at this zipping across the continent lark. Hope the bit in the middle of the flying home is a bit more civilized this week.

Oh I forgot to ask the other day when reading about your Italian holiday thoughts...do you speak Italian? It looks like you have a good start with liking pizzas...

Had to

at the description list has anyone ever noticed that the Aussie Pizza is just a tad ...well....BORING!!!!!
As I

this I have been playing a Simon & Garfuncle album through my computer. It is "The Definitive Simon & Garfuncle" 1991 Album. I love S & G...but I realize I am on the penultimate track...Bridge Over Troubled Water...so this post has taken an age and a half!! The album playing time is...wait for it...57mins 39secs!!!
Guess it is just about time for me to go join Holly who I suspect has gone to bed... I must admit it will be good to curl up with a warm body next to me....shame it is just the dog....
Night Night all...lands to the east...have a nice day...and lands to the west...nearly the weekend!!
