Sweet - Hope today's court went well. And WTG on the eating well while stressed - a very hard thing to do. My diet stalled a bit yesterday, but hope to get back into it today. Did do weights last night and tonight is cardio.

Sue - as Sweet says, you were on holiday! Think of it as a reason to now get back into it! I've found that reading some fitness magazines seems to help with the motivation, but also don't do too much if you're feeling ill.

Wendy - I'll see you on the bike tonight! Before that, I have to take my mom's computer apart for the move tomorrow. She isn't too stressed, but will be really buggered tomorrow night! Luckily not too far to go, only 8km. I'm taking the day off to help as brother dearest is away with work for two weeks - what a life - get to see the country on the company!

Mwah

need sleep! I got up before 5am and boy did it catch up. added to the stress of the days and all the need to concentrate. I came home ate some soup and hopped into bed at 630pm. I got 2 phone calls and there was some barking from Saffie so I got up again at 930pm for an hour. Have to admit I’m hungry now!!!

The day went well but slowly. Not sure everything will be done in time tomorrow. We still have to hear from the people who were supposed to purchase my house

Ok can barely keep eyes open. Going to find something else to eat then bed again. i will reply to everything on wed or thurs. right now just too tired

ok, so i made a step in the right direction and got a running plan suggested on one of the other threads. it's called couch to 5k. So according to this, i should be able to run 5k in 9 weeks (don't worry, i'm also laughing at myself!)

Ladies!

Sue - how we're wishing for warm weather here! A massive front has come through and we're nearly freezing here. It even snowed a bit up here in Jo'burg and the last time it did that here was in 1981! Yesterday when I got to my mom's new place at 9:30 it was only 4deg and didn't get much warmer. There have been floods and lots of snow in places that normally don't get, so the whole country is in uproar! I feel like an ice block with a dodgy knee. (I bashed it on a window sill while hanging curtains and now have a scrape and a huge bruise!)

The diet went out the window yesterday, but trying again today. Didn't exercise either because of the knee. Will give it a few days and then try again. My flat is now really empty with my mom having taken most of the lounge/sitting room furniture! She did leave me on two seater couch and a sideboard, so it's not totally empty. Will look into a dining room table on the weekend.

Must go. Actually have work although have ploughed through most of it now and the engineer has gone out so he's not hanging over my shoulder!

Meg

ok well i just finished workout 1 of week 1 of C25K. It wasn't awful. It was brutal which makes me think it will take me double the 9 weeks to reach 5K. I can handle that!

Wow- snow-that nasty "s" word! thankfully we don't have to think about that for about another few months....right now my biggest worry is what to do with the 3000 lbs of green beans in my garden!

i was BF for 11 days and no weight loss. makes me want to cry - instead i binged. i would love to weigh 130 but i am about 180. i have been making an effort to dress better and that helps as i feel better if i look presentable instead of wearing my fat clothes

it's sunny here today so i have to get outside and get some sunshine. cheer me up

susie - you made me laugh. i need to get back into exercise too. i go more on time than distance. actually i just walk until the dogs pulling my arms out of their sockets drives me crazy and then i turn around. some days we don't get past the corner of our street

we don't get snow here!!! EVER. and thank gawd for that

cya soon
