Painty, there's something poetic about that. Take it easy. A walk and a nap sounds rawther nice.
I'm making hamburger soup for dindin. I think at least one of us is tired of ham. We got one of those spiral sliced hams at the grocery store and baked it with its glaze packet and it's so very good. But DD has her limits. And then my brother sent me a gift cert. for another one. Heh heh I think I'd better wait a few weeks before I redeem that one...
The dawg has been a real trial today. I had to cut her toenails and it took 2 of us to hold her down. I ended up using a muzzle and sitting on her while DH held down her other end. Normally I would not do such a thing because I know it is traumatizing. But I think it's too late; the stupid nitwit at Petco already traumatized her for clipping her nails and I doubt I'll ever be able to do it without a fight anyway. It's exhausting. DD was very sweet and took the dog for a walk after DH and I tortured her.
