Echo went back to duck school for 2 more months. She has another trial this weekend. I think she only has one more to do after this one. It is so cute they give ribbons and all. I told Joe I am going to put them in a shadow box when she is all done. I am sure we will take a pic of her and the awards. Don't worry I will be sharing the pics of my baby with all of you guys.

Angie I have to say that was one of the funniest things I have ever heard about Rebel. What a little crap head he was.

On our first Christmas we were busy taping the kids and opening gifts that when we were done we went into the kids rooms to take care of things and he had pooped in the girls room. I was so mad because he has been house trained for a long time. I know he was mad because Jay didn't get up and play ball with him like he always does. I love JRT's. When these guys pass away we already said we are getting 2 JRT puppies next.

You must miss Echo so bad. I can't wait to see her pics. She is so pretty.

Sandy:
Thanks for the pumpkin pudding recipe.
Hubby isn't crazy about pumpkin flavored stuff, so I'll have it to myself (this could be dangerous<G>). The extra should keep nicely in the fridge for up to a week.

melekalikimaka:
(what does your name mean ?)

Here's a site about Caltrac.

http://www.fitdr.com/Productcaltrac.htm

It's not cheap, tho'. - $69. plus S&H.......but it works.

However, I got mine thru a program called Fitness by Phone.
I also use the heart monitor that Kempy mentioned. But I only wear the heart monitor during exercising.
I wear Caltrac on my waist during all waking hours.
It came with a pocket guide, instruction manual, a fitness guide, and a VHS tape.

Re: Red Cross.....that was a cute joke...you almost had me going.....and when I saw the picture, I said to myself (not knowing you're married)
"She'll get onboard the ship and then discover they're ALL gay."

Anyone here watching The Shield on FX ?

LOL!!!! OMG!! I only saw the 'Red Cross' post as I was typing my reply, so there was no picture.... it made no sense, and you really had me concerned Mel.

The Cutco on ebay is probably 2nd hand stuff, or reps. that are selling prizes that they've won. They do alot of contests and stuff, and of course the prizes are all merchendise. I don't mind, it's cool stuff. I checked it out, there is a website, http://www.cutco.com that has descriptions, and more info on the products. I would be more than happy to be your rep. if you see something that you like. e-mail me: [email protected]

That goes for all of you gals...

So I thought that today was Friday and weighed this morning, I've maintained but not lost anything... I haven't been drinking my water this week, so I'm going to try to get hydrated today, get in some extra exercise, and maybe kick off a lb. by tommorow. I know that I'm retaining, can feel the puffiness, so "I think I can, I think I can...."

My friend is throwing a suprise b-day party for his wife on Sat. Of course didn't bother to tell me about it 'til today, I offered to help set-up or something, and he was like 'oh yeah, i need you guys to do everything....' I don't mind though, i love being the hostess. He's got the $$$ and I get to be creative But I've got to go get her a present today.

Alright, time to go.

Hello everyone. Angie that Rebel sure has an attitude How rotten, the little devil! My sister just got a new JRT puppy last night in fact. This is her second one. The first is a boy named Keaka (which is the Hawaiian name for Jack). This little boy pup is named Koa which means "soldier" I think. It's so funny because Keaka wants to play but the puppy is so little, only 8 weeks old, and he kind of butts him with his head and the pup falls over. I need to get my camera over there and take some pics. Kempy, in addition to the 2 JRT's, my sister has a yellow lab named Rusty (who's not anywhere near as pretty or handsome as Echo is) and a bull terrier-german shephard mix named Max. It's getting to be a real zoo over there. Is Echo being kenneled at the school? You must be proud, with the competitions and ribbons.

Gar, "mele kalikimaka" means Merry Christmas in Hawaiian. My real name is Noelle, get it? Bing Crosby recorded the song which goes like this: "Mele Kalikimaka is the thing to say on a bright Hawaiian Christmas Day.
That's the island greeting that we send to you
From the land where palm trees sway..."
Yeah, it's kind of cheesy, but a fun song.
I've never watched The Shield but isn't that the guy from The Commish? Michael Chiklis? He sure looks different. I hear it's a good show though.

Washu, sorry I had you worried... And for sure if it were for real, they would have been ALL GAY, it's Murphy's Law.

Sandy, I see you're doing the WATP tapes. I picked up the 2 mile tape from a clearance bin at Sports Authority--it's still in the shrink wrap but once I make some room in the house I'm gonna give it a whirl. My hubby wants to buy a fancy weight bench thing he saw at Costco so we'll have to do some major clearing out. Then my living room will look like Angie's (mini gym) .

Chris, where are you? We miss you.

Shan, where are you hiding? Come out and play...

I just got some news from Joe about Echo. TRhey were running her and she cut her foot on something so he brought her to the vet and he is going to have to sedate her to stich it up. He wants us to keep her off of her feet. (she is a dog how in the world are we going to do that?) The bad thing is she had her trial this weekend and one more on March 23rd but now she will have on on March 21st and not again until the fall sometime. That really sucks b/c we were hoping that she would be finished soon. She will be staying home for the next week so I guess I will need to have fun with her right now.

Oh Poor Echo. Her cut will probably bother you more than her though. Jay cut the quick on Cappies toenails the first week we had him and that poor dog bled everywhere. I was blowdrying my hair and saw some blood on the floor while Jay ran to the store to get cornstarch to try to get it to clot. Needless to say I got so sick that I had to go lay down on the bed and breathe. I got up again and saw it was all over my carpet and just about puked so I was on the bed when Jay got back to clean it up. He got blood outside and all through the car because we had to take him to the vets to get it to stop.

Joe hasn't gone to get her but he said that they poured alcohol onit when they were on the levee to clean it out and she didn't even care. I think she will be ok but I hate that she had to go to the vet.

Gar I was just clicking around on peoples porfils and I saw someone that lives in College Station. That is so wild. Maybe you know them. Their username is imlilbb.

Today is official WI day for me.....and the verdict is.....................I lost 4 lbs this week....hurray for me...do the happy dance.

Noelle, yes I love the WATP tape that I got. She has a new 4 mile one out now too, and I will get that once I get this 3 mile one down!!! Imagine me saying that? The girl who just 4 weeks ago thought the word exercise was as bad as a 4 letter word!!

Kempy/ sorry about Echo, hope she is up and running again soon, poor little thing.

Angie/ Now how in the world did you handle babies throwing up and stuff if you can't handle seeing blood on the floor? Oh poor you with knee scrapes and cuts.

Hope everyone is having a great day.

Hugs,
Sandy

Ha ha That is funny Sandy. When they got their ears pierced I had to go sit down and have Jay get me something to drink. Here I was in the Mall sweating pale and ready to pass out. haha. When Alicia was crawling she got a can and cut her finger good and I had to call my mom to come down and see her to try to help with the bleeding. I had a friend over so she took care of her until Mom got there. I am so bad. I was on the bed.

Cool Sandy. See, we are a good support team. You are well on your way to a new person. I told my hubby about how sweet yours was when he sent you those flowers with the card. He even thought it was great. All this from a man who is less romantic than Jay.

Angie I once watched a show that showed people getting breast implants and I have to lay my head down on the coffe table b/c I was getting sick and it was cool. Stupid me kept watching it and I kept getting worse until finally Joe came in and turned it.

Woo-Hoo Sandy, you go!

Poor Echo, when she comes home give her a kiss from me.
I saw a breast implant surgery on TV once too, they did it a "new" way by going under the muscle through by the belly button, none of the ugly scars near the breasts--OW! I would never, ever get a boob job no matter how small I am. Liposuction yes, boob job NO! Hmmm, maybe they can relocate the fat from my thighs and put it up on my chest?

You know, even though Rick is romantic, romance doesn't get the laundry done, scrub the toilet or clean the house. It's a trade off I guess. I think I'd rather have a maid than a husband! Nah, just kidding.

I saw that show (at least the beginning ) too.

I have 8 lb hand weights and I am wondering what else I can do with them. I do 50 bicep curls? on each arm every night. I have my arm on the inside of my knee and curl up.

I also use one weight and hold it with both hands behind my head and lift my arms up level with my head( I can feel it in the under my arm area) Are these okay to do and do you guys know of any others that I can be doing. I am hoping if I can build some muscle than my arms won't look so flabby this summer.

Anige you can do push ups (chest), either girl or guy kind. Put your hands on the edge of your bed with you legs straight out on the floor and do dips. (triceps) I wouldn't do your weights every night. Your muscle need a chance to recoup.
