dgramie - I remember my Mom had a hard time when I moved out and got married to. Its hard to not have that person around anymore. You sounds like a very supportive momma though, she is lucky to have you.

llara - Here is to making our Monday "number"! I can totally relate.

slimnup - Thats awesome about the 2 lbs and the jeans! Double dose of victory... Getting rid of the muffin top is hard but big time motivation lol. I still have mine

Last night got some sad news which almost sent me off the deep end calorie wise. I just stuck to my guns and refused to let myself shovel junk into my mouth to make it feel better (because I was smart enough to know it wont lol) I have a busy and tempting weekend ahead of me but like llara I am chasing that number on the scale for Monday. Wish me luck girls. Hopefully monday I will have good news to report lol.

weigh in was down 1.4lbs. My muscles in my legs are so sore from going up and down the steps so many times with loads of stuff.
We have her all loaded and will leave in a few hours to take her stuff to her new home. I am excited for her and excited to see her new home.
I will have a mess left behind to deal with in a few days when i recover from moving her.
hope everyone has a wonderful weekend.

Good Luck with your daughters move dgramie. You will certainly have all of your exercise in helping her move. And, congratulations on the 1.4 # loss.

I am sooo excited! I found a ton of old clothes hiding in the back of the closet and they fit. The jeans were all size 12s. That's my new size, but when I looked at them, they all look so tiny. I was like, no way, those will never fit. Guess what! They fit!!! And one of the 'tiny' pairs of jeans were even loose on me. Woo hoo!

Those wonderful hidden skinny clothes at the back of the closet. Where would we be without them. Just don't hide any fat clothes back there because you never want to fit into them again.

We got such good news this evening. DS and his GF got engaged last night and told us today. There's going to be a wedding coming up and I'm getting another DIL. We were hugging and kissing and phoning the relatives to let them know. They may be married as soon as June or the summer some time. I have the dress I wore to DS#1's wedding and I guess I could wrap that one around me at least twice. Ha, ha. I get to go dress or suit shopping but not til I know when they are getting married because I'm still losing weight. We're going to be grandparents in March with DS#1 and a wedding this summer with DS#2. Oh, life is good today. (I'm posting this on many threads. )

Blinky,

I know what you mean about it being exciting to be in a size 14. By the looks of your stats you have done great. Congratulations.

Hi everyone. Just a flyby today. Life is crazy... And probably will get crazier. We are looking for a new place in town. I can't wait to get out of this dump in the forest. If all goes well, we should be moving pretty soon. (Please, Lord! Let it all go okay...)

Congratulations on all of your losses, smaller sizes and happy, happy news.

Hey Ladies- I have been so busy, Holidays at work are the worst time for me here. I am super duper busy. But just wanted to stop by and say Hi to everyone. I will try to catch up a bit later.

Wilma that is fantastic news about the jeans. Right now my tummy fat is really soft and goshy so I know about muffing top. I really hate it.

Stephanie hope you saw a number you were chasing. I wanted more but I had a 3 lbs loss so I will take it.

cdiem ~ WOW that is fantastic news, a hidden treasure.

Retiredone ~ How exciting. Do you expect a long engagement or are they already planning for the big date?

Rain ~ How exciting about moving. Hard time of year with the holidays but maybe you will get to celebrate in a new place.

Tinky ~ Glad you were able to stop in. I hear you about being crazy at work.

I could have lost more this weekend but made something yesterday that isn't so great for my program because of the preparation process. I was craving it and had some. OH WELL! So just a 3 lb loss for me this week. Hopefully more by next Monday.

Talk at you all later.

A late June or early July wedding is planned. What a weekend! Back on track today. Didn't get enough sleep or exercise (did get some) and got more food than necessary.

I have a mushy belly too. Muffin tops are my life.

dgrami, yes this will be our first grandchild and I'm mourning the fact we live 400 kilometres away from DS#1 and DIL. I wore such a big dress at DS#1's wedding. I made it myself because I couldn't find anything to fit in the stores. I'm hoping to be "skinny" by June. Shouldn't have any problems getting a good choice by then. You probably won't have any trouble getting into an 18 in 3 months. Clothing I was wearing in August are falling off me now so I'm sure you'll have just as good success.

I met a couple of people yesterday at the grocery store whom I had not seen since last year. They said they hardly recognized me because of the weight loss. Ha, ha, and again, ha, ha.

Must go exercise. Catch you all later.

Hello, everyone. I'm sending Happy Thanksgiving greetings to all my American friends here at 3FC. I don't suppose many of you will be around tomorrow or even the weekend with all the festivities going on. Hopefully, none of you will do too much damage and will come back renewed to tackle a few more weeks before Christmas.

Good day to all!

Retiredone are they already starting to plan? That is really a popular time for weddings so the quicker they set things in place the better. How exciting. By the way you will reach your goal by then, you can do it you are really close.

dgramie good idea on waiting to get your dress after Christmas.

All is well here with me. Quiet here at work since most students have cute out early and so are the faculty and staff. I told my supervisor I would stick around until he kicked me out. LOL! He said that isn't likely to happen. I said PLEASE!

I probably won't be on the rest of the week as its my big decorating weekend and I even have gifts to wrap already for my GS's. DD's are already done because they needed big ticket items, one needed tires for her car and the other is getting a car. LOL! HMMM the smell of rubber under the tree. Just kidding they are already on the car. DH wants clothing for work and I am just going to suggest we go get it. I think this year I would prefer it be about kicking back and watching Christmas shows and relaxing. No mess to clean up or hassles. We can watch GS open his and enjoy that. Besides we get to play with his also. LOL! Its not for us they are for him, really. HEHEHEE!

Well I have go for now and I will talk at you all later.
