Didn't do any walking Friday or Saturday... unless you count walking to the refrigerator! It's been a rough calorie filled weekend!

But I did MUCH better today! just got back form a 1.6 mile walk w/ DD - and now I'm going to do a 10 min ab workout. I'm feeling awfully squishy in the mid-section.

L, Sounds like you're having a lot of fun while getting your exercise too!

I did 1 hour of yoga with Rodney Yee today. I was very excited, there was a pose I could not do and now I can. Yippee!!

My ex-wife was asking my wife about making bags for yoga mats, in church today, to sell at the next church bazzar

So proud of you BASKGAL!!

Anyway, that would bring me up to 30.5/42 miles.

Have a great day!

Every day will not be a good one! However, a day with your DD...exercising...is a GREAT ONE

After church today, Angie and I took the dogs down to the beach for a trip through an art festival that was going on, then we did a few miles along the beach. I figure we did a 5K easy...and it was a glorious day!

Thought I would do a repeat 5k today and make that my regular Sunday run. I was cursing the heavens above mid run but I made it through (with one minor slow down to catch my breath) and I finished the 5k over 3 minutes faster than last week. Now the goal is a sub-30 minute 5k maybe in June or July. I'm starting to get the itch to run again. Crazy!

4.0 miles in total today with the warm up and cool down.

Wow, everybody is really rockin'! Great job!

Gary, Your walk along the beach sounds lovely. I think it's terrific how you and Angie find time to walk together. That's really wonderful.

So far I've done 50 min of yoga today and have a 4 mile walk planned with a friend for later this afternoon. The weather has been awesome so the weekend was terrific. The school has a lot of outdoor activities planned for the children all week to celebrate earth day. I hope the weather holds so they can enjoy it all!

I got off work a little early today so the mutts and I went over the hill...giving Angie a break so she could go to yoga after school.

LOVNMOM Angie's rule for me is "If you want it...you gotta catch it!" ....did I mention she runs?...whew!!! Actually we really enjoy our walks with our dogs!

I did get my walk in with M today and then another 2 miles alone tonight. DS's scout leader didn't require any help and I had taken care of all my Cubmaster duties, so off I went. It was really nice. I rarely walk "in town." There were many families out walking and riding bikes together. Spring just brings out the best!!

Gary, I'm really enjoying yoga at home. The closest class to me would be about a 40 min drive, but I may check one out some day as a treat. Do you ever go along?

21 hours and 15 min of 30 minutes Yeah.....I'm finally ahead of schedule!!!

1.25 miles today, going into work late and sort of let time slip by me this morning. Will most likely have a nice long walk tonight after work to add in some more!

Well I got on the TM again tonight and decided to run 2 miles, not sure why but hey if I have the energy why not! So all in all another 3.5 miles to add.

34/40 guess who is going to make goal this month?

cakeses, when the exercise whim hits it is not ours to question, we should just "run" with it, for tomorrow we may have to force ourselves. Great job!

Baskgal, You got your motor running, only 2.5 miles to goal. Woo hoo!

Rain yesterday morning, but then it turned beautiful. I made brats, those WI favorites, on the grill for supper and then went for a 45 min bike ride with my two youngest children. We didn't ride very fast, because our dachtshund was along. She doesn't have very long legs, but she's got a lot of heart. The bike trail was soft from the rain so between the slow pace and the slight sinkage my legs still got an excellent workout. Plus the kids spent an extra 10 or 15 min playing under the bridge. There were tadpoles galore and in one area the tree frogs were so loud. My 8 y/o son laughed and said how the boy frogs are singing, "I'm so handsome, look at me, my lillypad is the biggest you can see." Kids, what fun!
