    From what I understand, you have to order it when they're running a sale on a specific product in order to get a decent discount.

    I noticed that familybariatric.com is cheaper than the center ($7/box for concentrate HNS I think), but they also charge for shipping. I did the same order on both sites for a comparison, and with shipping at familybariatric, it cost exactly the same as with free shipping at dietdirect. Hmmph.

    I did end up ordering a bunch of bars from online, though. I tried the variety pack they just started selling at the center, and I LOVED several of the bars. You can buy each one of the bars in the variety pack as a full box (packaged as Bariwise bars) online, so it was worth it, to me.
  • Missy, I did this without the center, too! Using the Body Fortress, what flavor did you buy? When you look at the nutritional value, the equivalent of the Body Fortress is a half a scoop. Sometimes if you don't like the taste, add only about 3oz of water, goes down faster. But I love the choc., to me it taste like choc milk, which I miss having milk. I'M HALF WAY TO GOAL, WE CAN DO IT!!!!
  • Whew! Just got done working out (2.2 miles on the tredmill). I'm feeling energized and ready for dinner!!

    =) It was one of your posts that I found out about the Body Fortress...I bought the chocolate and have been doing 1 Tablespoon to 4 oz of water....it isn't my favorite but it goes down fast so no big deal...when you use the pure protien bars do you use them as meal replacement or as a hns?
    Your weight loss is fantastic....you give me hope that I can do this on my own!

    How often do you weigh at home? When I was going to the center they wanted you to weigh three times a week I think but wasn't sure if they still did that....

    missy I weigh daily at home.. probably not a great idea but I just have to know each day and then I weigh twice a week at the center, lol.. I just don't like suprises when I get to the center

    Machalea that sounds like a great workout! I did 20 min on my treadmill yesterday and it felt great! Now time will tell if exercise is good or bad for me right now (for weightloss, I know it's always a good thing, lol)

    Well my weigh in is later this morning. I'm up at 4am to work a few hours before I go in at 9.. fun fun, lol.. but then I'll have the rest of today off if I want or I can come back and work some more overtime, I'll decide that after my weigh in and see how I feel

    Oh also I did notice my 20 min workout yesterday made me so hungry! I did it before lunch so as soon as I was done I ate.. then I usually have dinner around 4:30-5pm and I was starving by then and before bed I force an hns becuase I'm never hungry but last night I was hungry two hours before bed!!! just ravenous, stomach growling etc.. so the hns at bedtime was sure a welcome relief, lol. I hope this is a sign my metabolism is working and I'm eating my own fat for energy!!! (love that thought dr oz always says, lol) Everytime my stomach grumbles I think, well my body is eating it's own fat, yay! lol Well anyway, guess I'll get to work, I'll check back in later with my wi, have a great tuesday all!!!
  • Good Morning everyone. Weigh in day for me too Spryng, I am hoping to see a drop, it has been so slow. I am going to get going with the exercize too. I know I have been saying that but i have been painting my kitchen, cupboards and all so it is taking my extra time.

    This is totally normal - if you grin and bear your way through it, it will ease up. And LOL, that's exactly what I think when I'm hungry and it's not time to eat! I tell my body, "You've got plenty to eat, stop whining!"
  • I'm weighing in today, too, just because I was too busy yesterday.

    I can't wait to get out of work on my WI days--I'm so excited to go see how I'm doing.
  • Well I weighed in today...but no change. The lady today told me that since I was home and ate out for several meals...even though I ate OP, I probably got extra salt and fat...so no loss today.

    I am bummed, but I am just pushing through it. The scale will eventually show a loss sometime soon...
  • I think I will try a new strategy of weighing only once a week. I get too discouraged by numbers and then "stray". I've always weighed every day and it's not working so well for me. Always trying...........never stopping!

    I've been avoiding weighing every day--it ends up becoming an obsession for me if I do that. I've been weighing with the center 2x/week, and it makes me more excited when I see an actual drop (as opposed to a miniscule drop when I'm weighing daily). Also, if I've strayed from plan a little bit, waiting to weigh myself keeps me on my toes and makes me be a little more disciplined for fear of how much that "straying" that one time will affect me that week.

    It's all a mind game, you just have to figure out what works best for you, I think.

  • I'm weighing later today - day 18! Hoping for a minus instead of a plus although Tuesday evenings are tough. Down a total of 14.5 lbs, 11.5"...hoping for more
  • Well, today is day one of the Yellow menu - again! They have put me back on here to try to jump start my weight loss again. I hope it works because I do not enjoy only cheese for my protein at lunch!!
