Madam-- Thanks! You are always so much fun to "be around" on the forum-- I love how upbeat you always seem to be. I have no doubt that you'll break through the wall and melt some butt-er in no time!

to the challenge! I am a new runner, and I recommend the Couch to 5k program from Cool Running. Google it and you won't be sorry. It's free, effective and rewarding, and it worked for me. Also, take it slow in the beginning. You don't want to get injured and be unable to exercise at all!fireravensees-- WELCOME to the challenge!!
setsysan: A loss is a loss, and a loss during TOM is extra special. Great job!! Keep on trucking and I'm positive you'll reach your goal.

i know i'm a bit late, but seeing as july 4th is a still a few months off, it can't hurt.
But, I'm working now to turn that big fat lie into the truth...LOL!
Yeah, I think I was 60lb over the 225 when I filled out the license app! But I had to up it when I realized that no one was going to believe that I still weighed 170, which is what it said prior to that!!! It was a surprise to me to realize that I had reached my DL weight. I got carded at a bar and said "wow, I actually weigh that!"
