Hello Chicks,
Thanks for all the warm wishes. We won't know any more until he gets in with the surgeon he was referred to. He'll take him the test results (blood/ct/x-ray) and get an apt. The surgeon will decide if he needs chemo/radiation first or he can go ahead with the surgery. So right now we're just pretty much in a holding pattern it's kind of hard to wait but, we don't really have much choice.
This weekend was pretty fun, the weather Saturday was beautiful. We took dinner to the village and ate with my in-laws while we watched the cars drive by. We did walk over and split a frozen custard, they are soooo good I could eat one every day, but I try to limit myself to 2-3/year and then they are more of a treat. Yesterday we took the dogs out for a walk, it was pretty muggy and I had a hard time. Today is supposed to be better, so after lunch I'm going to go for a bike ride. Haven't been on my bike in a couple of weeks, if I don't get moving I won't be able to ride the 39 mile ride in July like I want to.
Clyde - Sounds like you had a great time. I love going to ball games, we took my dad to a AA game for fathers day (a week early), I like being that close to the game.
Rennie - Hope you're feeling better soon.
Ailey - I used to do Curves too. It's a nice place. I quit to join the local civic center gym, so I could go with DH, plus they have a pool which I love. Sounds like you're doing things the right way, this journey needs to be a lifestyle change, not just a diet or we're setting ourselves up for yo-yoing.
Lovn - Sounds like you have a busy day today, and a good ride yesterday. Ten miles can be a lot if you're not used to it.
mstigger - sounds like you had a fun day. DH and I need to get back to date night, we were doing well, but then spring yard work, vacation, sickness...all ate in. It can be fun, but just working together to finish something can be just as much fun.

to everyone I missed, I need to go grab lunch and get on my bike....
Have a great day everyone.
