Hi Folks,

Thanks Amity & Anmyreah for the kind words, I really appreaciate them!!! My goal for this week was to start exercising but I haven't really been able to do much, hopefully this weekend I can get in a couple of hours of exercising.

Welcome craftymom!

Judy, I am also trying to learn to knit. I bought a book yesterday but I don't have the materials yet! Maybe I should take a class, it looks kind of difficult!

Have a good weekend!

Hi all,

How is everyone going? I had a not so great day on thursday and seemed to eat myself out of house and home but I'm back on track now and going well again. I think with a bit of hard work I may just reach my goal for valentines day. I do need to do more exercise though. I'm planning on taking the kids swimming again tomorrow so hopefully I'll manage to get a few laps in too

knitting sounds like a great way to keep away the night time munchies, I keep a list by the computer of things that I can do if i get bored and start to head towards the fridge. It seems to work for me for the most part and as a bonus my house is becoming organised

I hope everyone is having a great weekend
Cheers
Amity

If I can do that in one month I will be a happy camper. I am currently 227 so that will get me off to a good start. OK fellow fat chicks help get me motivated and I will try to do the same for you.

Hi All,

how is everyone going? I'm not doing too bad at the moment but I've still got 2 more days until my next weigh in and think I may just have to tie myself down to keep from jumping on the scales early. lol

Anmyreah - I have about a dozen cabbies now, some are from back in the eighties but I have 2 of the new playalong ones too. I can't wait too add to my collection. Its slow going because they are pretty pricey in this part of the world.

Hi and welcome to all of those who have just started the challenge, its a great group of people here and we all support each other.

Everyone is doing such a great job, I'm positive we can all reach our goals.

I am definitely in on the Valentines challenge. I was a little late starting on my New Year's resolution, but I have still managed to lose 13lbs since the beginning of the new year. My goal is to lose 17lbs, to put myself at an even 190lbs by Valentines.

Default Valentine's Challenge

I am a newbie here. I just started a diet at a local weight loss center. I began on 1/4/05 and have lost 18 pounds. I am hoping to lose another 17 by Valentines day.

I would like to join this challenge as well. I started it a week ago on my own but it is nice to see I don't have to do it alone!

Starting weight: 166
Valentine's Challenge Goal = 156
Final Goal = 140

Also, nice to "meet" everyone.

Hi All

Christi - Welcome to the challeng. Wow 18 pounds lost is a fantastic effort congratulations.

Cassandra_anne - Welcome to you too. You will get loads of support here, you never have to do it alone

As for me well I am down a modest one pound this week, but still a 1 pound loss is better than nothing and I'm happy with it - 5 pounds in total - half way there

Default I'm new here.. I wanna lose 1 inch.

Hi! This is such a cool place! I wanna join in your challenge. But since I don't use a scale, except for once every few months, I'll have to modify for it~ I wanna lose 1 inch! (on my chest, waist and hips). I have lost about 11 inches off each one so far. I wish you all Good Determination! (Luck isn't needed. )
