Hi Gang...
SUE -
I'm feeling just fine... I had a GYN check-up for the year and my problem was that the Dr. wanted to lower me on estrogen again because of risks... and I was worried. But for not --- she is going to allow me to stay at the dose I am at for as long as I request it and I stay healthy... so I am fine, but thanx anyway
Hey there MICHELE -
She was thrilled to see my weight-loss... ... ...
And I was thrilled too... She told me to keep up the great job
and hopes to see me next year at my goal weight
Graphics: Remember I mentioned that some people who own
their sites add a block on their graphics... so they won't work in forums.
It's not you... just try another site is all.
Aren't jammie days wonderful!?! I have jammie days on Monday's...
I think that everyone deserves ONE day to spend in your jammies
and catch up with yourself... Good for you
Hi SHERRY -
Yep... I am fine. Drank lots of water and I walked my T-Mill
this afternoon, so other then feeling tired tonight I am doing great!
*PRAYERS* for your health and well-being, Sherry.
Sure hope it's nothing serious...
Dear Sunny,
I think I have this set up correctly. Looking forward to emails. What are Tags? Just curious
The graphics are very helpful to find a past post I am looking for ... In this case I just looked for the black lab pup..... I have one (5years old)
Can you tell me what kind of weight loss program you are on ?
You are doing great.
Blessings
Valerie

I am here-- no time to post-- barely time to read--- at my goddaughter's ship all day coming in from Iraq and Kuwait-- that was fun! Then got to my nephew's championship basketball game for his school, they lost but he got to play a little.
Daughter's boyfriend's dad has his cancer back-- not looking good at all, prayers asked. will explain later. Happy birthday Judy-- best to all of you, gotta jam.. Ron needs computer for school. Love ya, Gary
Hope EVERYONE is doing well this morning. I'm just sipping a little and trying to come to life. I lost several lbs yesterday in fluid. I concentrated on taking my Lasix and staying in. It's so hard when I work and go house to house. Ya know?
I am working today and all weekend, against dh's better judgement. But I am already scheduled and it's a major thing to find someone else to work. There's only two of us that work in this area and the other nurse is off this weekend. I know how I feel about my weekends off and sure don't want to take that away from her. But I'm very tired and my body isn't doing too well with my heart overloaded. But hopefully, I will be able to slow down even more next week. I'm supposed to only have 3 visits tomorrow and 4 Sunday. That's not too bad.
Dh's uncle is about the same, no real changes. It's so hard to see this man like this. His poor wife is so tired and tries so hard to go along with his wild stories and not over react but it's very hard. Sometimes after an episode, he will all of sudden say, Why in the world did I say that? How long was I talking out of my head? And he's fully there, knowing that his mind is playing tricks on him, then sometimes he starts crying and saying it's driving him crazy. Thanks for all your prayers.
~Gary~
Good to hear from you!! Sounds like you have been quite busy. Hope your godddaughter got in alright. Glad your nephew got to play in the championship ballgame. Sorry to hear that dd's boyfriend's dad's cancer is back.
Prayers going up!!!!! Post when you can!!
~doitforme~Sue~
Glad to hear from you!! Bet you're glad to be back on days! Or you may prefer the other. I always preferred 3-11 or 11-7 but my family didn't.
~Valerie~
Hey there! Labs are great dogs, aren't they? Doing graphics is fun and colorful. Hope they continue to work for you!!!
~Sunny~Glad to know you walked the T-mil and got your water in this afternoon. Thanks for your prayers! Yes, I'm afraid it is serious, that's the problem. My heart is overworked and not able to pump efficiently enough to keep my blood flowing properly and then it gets behind in volume causing congestion and kinda backflows into my lungs. I got pretty bad earlier this week but didn't let dh know while he was gone, didn't want him worrying. But as soon as he got home, he knew. I didn't do anything physical yesterday. I walked to the barn and back probably oh, 175 ft and my heart rate got up to 120 bpm, and then I had to lay down for a while on my oxygen. When my heart gets overloaded my body doesn't get enough oxygen throughout it, hince the chest pains.
Thanks so much for showing us how to do the graphics. I have tried typing my post on Word Pad and then transferring it and it is a whole lot better especially since I have lost so many of them due to computer problems. At least now if I lose it I have backup. What I was saying about the graphics not working was that one time it will and then the next time it won't, but then wait a week or so and try it and it works.
Hope EVERYONE has a GREAT FRIDAY!!!!! And a GREAT WEEKEND!!!! Thanks to all you for your prayers and support!!!!!

It's Friday!
Good Morning Everyone!
I haven't gone to Curves this week at all, but I will get back into my routine next week... I think I needed a little break from my routine, but I will not give it up - it's working for me
Hi VALERIE -
I feel honored... you don't post individually often
I am not sure what TAGS are, but they are part of the CODE for HTML (graphic codes) and I am not knowledgeable about HTML codes at all! I wish I were (!)... my brother is great at it, but he lives in Maine and so I am not able to learn from him. I learn best by watching someone. My nephew is the one that has taught me so much about computers - he goes to Case. He too is gone in school... During the summer he comes by and teaches me allot! So when he does I will ask him about TAGS, okay In the meantime... maybe you could just go to Google Search and type in Tags and see what you get and research it.
What program am I on?
Here is my schedule on an average week...
Monday: Curves & *T-Mill (* I walk for 1 hour everytime I walk the T-Mill) Tuesday: Sculpture Bands (**Michael Thurmond) & *T-Mill Wednesday: Curves & *T-Mill Thursday: Sculpture Bands & *T-Mill Friday: Curves & *T-Mill Saturday: I walk in the park with my hubby - aprox 3.25miles Sunday: Much needed REST
**Michael Thurmond has a great Food Program as well, but you have to get his package to know how he does it ~ it is given to you with your "body type" in mind... I love his program. I mainly ordered his package so I could learn more about the exercises he teaches... you get great results. So that's how I am doing it.
Morning SHERRY -
I am feeling great today... got a good nights sleep with the windows open!
What a great feeling! I love the sound of the birds in the morning.
I didn't realize that you had such a serious heart problem... is it in your family?! Are the Dr's able to help you? WoW 120! That is high... you are talking about the bottom # - right? Like my BP is 120/70 --- what is your full number? I'll better understand what you are talking about. I didn't think your bottom #'s could go much over 90 w/o a major problem!!! Are you on BP meds too? And doesn't caffeine affect you and your heart-rate? Hope you don't mind all my questions... if you do ~ just don't answer them ~ I'll understand and won't be bothered. I surely don't want to be invasive.
I will continue to hold you in *Prayer* for sure!
Hope everyone else is having a great Day
and will have an even better Weekend!
"Hello's" out there to all our MIA's: ANGEL,CONNIE,SAMI,WILMA,SPROUT, DEENIE M,AGGIE,CEEJAY, JUDY & POOKEY616
Come back soon! We miss you guys!!! {{{Big Hugs}}} SunnyD
~Sunny~
So sorry, I didn't explain well enough for you to understand. I guess that's the nurse coming out in me. No, I do not have high blood pressure. The 120 bpm was my pulse (beats per minute). And yes the coffee does have an effect on my pulse and BP but I now drink 1/2 caffeine and 1/2 decaffienated, so it's not too bad. {Recommended by my cardiologist} I've tried just decaffienated but found I absolutely need some caffeine. But that's nearly all the caffeine I get since I limit cokes and tea and drink water most of the time.
And yes, I have major family history of heart problems but not Diastolic Heart Failure. The only help the Drs can give me is to administer diuretics to keep the fluid off, beta blockers to make the heart beat more efficiently and rest. With any activity, my heart rate (pulse) goes up and the activity causes chest pain because of the heart not being able to pump efficiently which causes lack of oxygen. So, exercising is almost totally out of the question. If we had an indoor pool that would be the best exercise since it's less taxing on the body. But I'm not sure even now that I could do that. The Drs say that if I could get the weight off it might help but there may be too much damage done now. If I could exercise regularly I would lose, but that's now not an option. I seem to be in a no win situation.
And I should NEVER have taken on the softball but they promised me that I would have plenty of help and could only tell others what to do since I have years of experience. But, that has been a joke, half the asst coaches (there's 4) don't even show up for practice part of the time. UGH!!!! And with 8 and under age group we need several to have practice.
Thanks for your concern. I'm sorry to whine about something I can do nothing about. I just get frustrated at times. But thank you so much for caring.
I'm at work today. Feeling better, but even after going to sleep at 7 and being up from 9-10 and then sleeping all night, i still feel tired this a.m? I've got to find a good supplement w/vitamins/minerals/antioxidant. I'm almost done with this book and I think everyone would benefit from that. It's also helping me to think more about diet. And think of it as trying to nourish my body, "What can i have that will supply good nutrition?"......know what I mean, it takes the focus off the food and seeing it as nourishing your body. Not so much what I feel like having....
With Mom's day coming up I thought it'd be fun to share some of mom's advice. Be it the best advice she gave you or the funniest, or the wierdest?! They are doing this on our Christian radio program and mom's can win a spa trip.
I think the advice I remember that I wish I had taken, was about 2 weeks before my wedding and my mom told me that it didn't matter how much money was already spent or that the invitations were out, I didn't have to go thru with the wedding if I didn't want to........but of course I didn't listen. But I always remembered that.
And another one she told me, was not to pinch my brother or anyone, because it could cause cancer...
I must get busy, have much to do today and leaving 1/2 hour early to get to the chiro today. Woohoo, can't wait till he gets my hips in alignment and maybe that'll help the constant muscle ache in my hamstring and calf.
just got back from the chiropractor. What do you think of them? I fell three weeks ago and hit my head on a brick wall. I came down on my arms. My whole body ached. My upper arms especially. I have never been to a chiropractor before. Are they quacks? Do they really help you heal?
Gary~ I'm glad your goddaughter got in safely from Iraq and kuwait. I'm waiting for email from the 520 company in Kuwait from Aiken SC.. Our sunday school is adopting them to write and send packages to the men/weman who do not get much mail from home. I will keep your daughters boyfriends father in my prayers.
Sunshinelady ~ I'm sorry you have to work when you feel so bad. Please don't over do it.
Mitchypoo~ I'm going to share with you my grandmothers advise. Put caster liver oil in your bellybutton it lubricates your insides. Also ,when you shower when you have your period use freezing cold water. It stops the blood from flowing when your showering. I did this for years until I told my mom she laughed so hard she almost peed herself. Have a good laugh
SunnyD~ I am so proud of all your hard work in exercise.
Judy, I LOVE my chiropractor, and I did think they were quacks before. But now that I know more about them I see how they can help. They are better than going to the dr. and just taking a pill for whatever ails you, in my opinion of course. I did chiro billing before and learned even more about them as practitioners. There are bad ones out there, for sure, but overall i believe chiro's can truly improve your health. I know that i suffered for years with back pain and major headaches and since going to them, it is not so bad. I still get them, but it's usually because i need an adjustment. And don't be afraid to ask your chiro questions, if he/she doesn't want to answer, find another one. Just my 2 cents worth.
Judy- This is Angie, Gary's wife. He showed me your post. I have been going to a chiropractor for over 20 years. I truly believe it works. They can maniuplate your spine and relieve tension, muscle spasms, etc. I usually get a short massage and ultrasound with my chiropractor. My regular MD thinks its a good idea, just so long as your chiro isn't claiming he can cure cancer.
I have a little time tonight. Angie just left for the chiro. for her adjustment (or affair ) not sure--but either way it is OK because she comes back in a MUCH BETTER MOOD! I'M ONLY KIDDING ABOUT THE AFFAIR LADIES... BE NICE TO ME
I HAD A NICE SURPRISE WHEN I GOT HOME FROM WORK--MY DAUGHTER CAME HOME FROM COLLEGE FOR THE NIGHT--TENNIS PRACTICE WAS CANCELED--SHE IS TAKING A NAP NOW
SUNNYD Hey girl I apologize for neglecting our posting friendship here! I have just been so busy with all the things going on in my life at the moment with the kids sports, RYLEE, etc. Some day it will all get back to normal I want to thank you for all the help you give to the other ladies on their graphics too. I am so glad Joe was able to go to the doctor with you! And that you guys had a great time at Costco-- sounds so much like mine and Angie's dates!! Isn't it wonderful being married to a TRUE FRIEND!!! I know how special you are from your posts and I know what a great guy Joe is from you sharing with us. It's OK to miss Curves for a week-- we all need a break from time to time...DON'T MAKE IT A HABIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Because it becomes a bad one-- been there-done that! Have a great week-end!!
WILMA- Hey you-- a loss is a loss-- doesn't matter if it's pounds or inches!! it is gone forever!!! Glad to hear that ds surgery went OK. I hope the weather is nice this week-end so you can work in your yard too!! I will send pictures of Angie's roses as soon as she takes them for me.
SHERRY NO NO NO!!!!!!!!!!! You are not in a NO WIN situation!! Not a good one I agree--BUT YOU WILL WIN!! Just a little less at a time than some! If you can't exercise due to your health then you need to concentrate more on the eating (DUH! GARY!!) UIf you are able to move coaching softball then you should be able to walk (NO MATTER HOW SLOW--OR HOW FAR) just keep moving!! I found that (not doing it now-- shame on me!) if I have 2 regular cups of coffee ( I drink 20 oz. cups mind you) in the morning that I can go the entire rest of the day caffeine free. Prayers for DH uncle and his wife. Good luck with schedule on your DD band and softball-- been there done that too!
SAMI How is the homework going? Sorry for the mean boss! I so wish that the IBS wasn't a problem for you--my daughter has it too so I understand (as much as I can). Prayers for Mikes's family--so sad.
VALERIE I had a black lab for 12 years--my girlfriend from high school got him for me. He was supposed to be part lab part german shepherd but he always looked like a lab puppy! His name was Benji-- WAY before the movie!!
POOKY WELCOME!
SUE So glad to hear you are having nice weather! SEE the sun I sent last year finally got there How were those dishes? Work all week-end? for the trip? Youth keeping you young? Camping? How do you keep up girl??
JUDY Sounds like a good birthday! How was the concert? I see you got Angie's message on the chiro. I forgot to tell you when you asked before-- RYLEE's name came from: Angie saw a dog show on TV, a particular dog she fancied had the name rylie.. she decided to name her dog-when she got one, Rylie. Well, my son-RYAN LEE and I didn't want a dog-- soooo Angie named it RY-LEE after my son-- hoping to get his approval! We all love the dog--HOWEVER-- and I wouldn't trade her for ANYTHING-- my son and I still wish we didn't have one.
MICHELE Hey you kid!! I am soooo glad to see POSITIVE things coming from your posts this week with Charlie (not in the picture? at the moment?) Good for you dear!! I am so pleased to see all the new graphics coming from you too!! Mom's advice cracks me up-- I had a friend who's future father in law, while walking his daughter down the isle, promised her a NEW CAR if she didn't get married. They have been married over 20 years ( I must admit a ton of trouble though).
Well Angie is home so we gotta figure out dinner... later, Gary
