  • 173.0 This morning! That is the lowest I have been since I started! SOOO hoping that I can keep this going the right direction~!
  • Hi I'd like to join in here

This morning I was 176.0 up .6 from yesterday, my weight has been bouncing back and forth on 8/7 I was 174.8 now look. I hope I don't go up again tomorrow.
  • Ok, I think I will stop complaining about this stall. Still 170ish (170.4) but I have lost a half inch off my waist down to 29.5! I am stoked about that. I haven't lost anything off my waist in a very long time. Apparently my thighs needed to catch up. LOL! So no loss in over a month, but I'm losing inches. Always good.
  • Eliana I was stuck at 180.0 for like 6 weeks, it was very discouraging until I realized like you, my body was readjusting it size no t so much by pounds. I get impatient but I know my body has got to adjust to the loss too. You are doing good. My weight is 176.6 today, which means I am finally moving a little again.
  • happy to have you join us love2b150....hopefully you wont be here long : )
  • 174.4 Up .4 from yesterday. When you weigh daily fluctuations should be expeted right? Any of you ladies that use these threads before, I was wondering how long you seem to be in a thread? Obviously the duration or 10 pounds ha ha. I really want to see the 160's before the end of the month!

I tend to cross over decades about every 1.5-2 months. It's a while! I lose anywhere from 4-8 pounds in a month, so for me it definitely varies.

And yes, daily fluctuations are definitely to be expected. I love weighing daily because they no longer mean anything to me.
  • Eliana I've had a few stalls but mainly I just go back and forth, which sometimes I think are worse

    Thanks CountryHomeSchoolin

Fluctuations suck they are surely driving me batty right now

Ma26, This is my first thread like this. I looked up my weigh ins ...

I started this journey on 6/1 at 195.4 <--- don't know when I left the 200's if just happened
~on 6/16 I finally stayed at 189.8lb and continued to go down
~on 7/20 I finally stayed at 179.4lb and continued to go down

and from the looks of things it will be a good while before I see 169.

Today I weighed in at 176.4 after seeing 174.8 on 8/7 and on 8/8 I was at 175.4 exactly 20lbs down from my start ... see what I mean by back and forth
  • 175.4 4th day in a row OMG!!!
  • Eliana- Yes I need to think of the daily flucuations in that same light and not allow it to discourage me until it becomes a trend .
love2b150- Thanks for the info. It seems your progress has been awesome. And I am excited for this decade thread idea. I don't expect a quick move out either. Especially since I weighed myself tonight and it said 176 . I never weight at night, and it was after dinnner, so I know it isnt that comparable. I woke up incredible late this morning and rushed out of the house like a mad woman! Hence no weigh in this morning.
It took me such a long time to get solidly out of the 180's. I was bouncing between 178 and 183 forever. So I am happy for now to be solidly in this decade. Even late at night after dinner
  • It's gotta happen here soon. I'm hopeful that the current water weight I have going on will be out the door within the week and I can move on!!

Ma, I always lose at 1.5 to 2 pounds between evening and morning weigh ins. I wouldn't worry about it at all. I think most people actually fluctuate more than that.
  • Oh geez so I weighed 175.8 this morning. That's the wrong direction!! I hear people talk about sore muscles effecting weight? Any truth to that? I had a great leg workout two days ago and am incredibly sore. Oh well. If I keep with the plan it will eventually go back down.

Oh yes, definitely. In fact, your muscles may retain as much as two pounds of water for the repair of the muscles. Lately I have been noticing that if I have to go to the bathroom a lot on a day I don't drink too terribly much, I will have a whoosh the next day. In fact, I'm expecting one tomorrow!!

My body tends to hold water weight for a good week and sometimes two.
  • Eliana- That's awesome and sound like you may soon be leaving us in this decade!! Will miss someone to chat with here but I hope your whoosh comes soon. I am so excited for the 160's. That wil definately feel like I am actually doing it. I have many times been able to get into the 170's since I tended to sit around 180-183 when I wasn't trying to lose weight too hard. But I havent seen 169 or less in years. I hope yous comes soon!!!
  • I'm up a bit. A couple days ago I gave in to pizza and cookies and I think my body is trying to recover from that still....lol. I'm 174.6 this morning.
