Buenos tardes,
ES, I've always wanted to speak Spanish. I have some hispanic background. Some of my ancestors were part of the Spanish and Mexican people that settled in Texas traveling between San Antonio and Los Adaes. The location of Los Adaes is actally in Louisiana, but at the time it was the first Spanish capital of Texas. Unfortunately, most of my ancestors will only recognize the American Indian bloodlines, they refuse to acknowledge the Spanish and/or Mexican heritage. My mother's grandparents could speak some Spanish, but they didn't teach their children, so that part of our heritage has been erased. So, I'm trying to learn the language, I doubt that I'll ever be fluent, with proper Spanish or slang!!
JANIE, I didn't realize you spoke Spanish also. If I ever learn to form sentences proplerly, maybe you and Es can help me practice!!
How is everyone else? It's been a long week, I'm so glad it is winding down. Talk to you girls later, right now I'm going to get some housework out of the way.
Ruth

I'm sitting here cracking up about the spanish lessons. You guys are too much. I could just imagine if we all lived close by & getting together. We would have a ball!!
