HELLO EVERYONE ~ Just came on for a quick check-in. We had lovely sunshine today, but it's snowing out there tonight. I'm hanging in there; it's day five of this flu and man it's rough, but today I am starting to feel a bit better. Have been knocking down the cough drops and hot lemon and honey drink plus some aspirin for fever. Good thing we only get one like this once a year or every other year. It makes the other ones seem just like colds that keep coming back.

It's been busy this weekend; the girls are taking up lots of time. SWEETIE has slowed down a bit, but tonight went for a walk all over the place. She thought she'd go for a walk down the path ~ lol! Had to go after her and bring her back; she's as funny as ever!

Yeah ----------It's a girl My DD had a girl had her 3:59 today 6lbs 11 oz 18 inches
Her name is Ashlyn Mya both mom and baby doing great so is dad. I'm so excited thats 2 down and one more to go. Have a good week every one. Rena

HELLO EVERYONE ~ We are getting some more snow again today and tonight (kinda like pellets right now); and it's very mild out there. Am feeling much better today; could even smell our dinner baking today.

RENA ~ Congrats on becoming a Grandmother again!

COUNTING ~ Would love to send some snow to you, only it is coming in the wrong direction; the last three snows are all coming from the SOUTH. Maybe later on they will return there with a northern wind; it likes to do that often.

HI GALS ~

It sure is good to see some new faces

I worked out of town last week...came home friday...went to work 150 miles away for Saturday...came home for today...leaving at 3am tomorrow morning until next week-end... I sure like working close to home better! But not complaining...glad to be working!

I missed a meeting we had here at our home for the new church building, but Angie pulled it off super as usual! I made church and bible study today but will miss Lent services and our Committment Service for the new building this week...Angie will take our committment forward for us.

I am not sure when I can catch up but I want you all to know you are always in my prayers and I will be back in town soon, although we do have a lot of out of town work coming up in the near future...we do have a real sweet 150 condo project about 10 miles from my home coming...it is just coming out of the ground now though....several months...close to a year away for my drywall.

We are all well here...nucklehead nephew is really going to join the NAVY I think...I am struggling to make an appointment with his recruiter since I am not home on the days he is working...we will get it done soon. I have to sign for him as he will be 17 when he graduates high school and he wants to go in less than a month into the summer.

Well Angie has been gone all day visiting her sisters but just got home....see you next week-end!

It's been a lazy day for me. It was storming when I got up this morning. I did go to church but decided not to go out this afternoon. So, I just looked through some photographs, read part of a book, watched a movie, very relaxing. I did get on my exercise bike for a bit too. That really felt good. I think my answer will be to do my workouts in short sections instead of long ones. I've been really trying to get my eating under control too. So, hopefully the weight will begin to fall off again.

Rena: Congratulations on your new grandaughter!! We had baby dedication in church this morning. There were 4 baby girls. They were so adorable. Having only had boys I am feeling drawn to baby girls. I guess I'll have to wait for the grand daughters too!

Rosebud: You must be getting the same system we have been getting here. Yesterday it was 0C and the day before it was -31C. These drastic changes in temperature are really hard on us. Glad to hear you're doing so well.

It's time for me to head off to bed. I have tomorrow off and am really looking forward to it.

Glad to be home again and trying to get back to normal. We were out of town for my father-in-law's funeral and while we were there my husbands aunt passed away also. We extended our stay slightly and now are home and the girls are trying to make up all of there school work etc. Thank you all for your prayers...they are appreciated.
My eating wasn't too bad while we were away. We rushed so much I felt like I was gulping most of the time. My weight stayed the same though, no loss. I'm going to try to get on track and implement some exercise. I don't do anything organized so my oldest daughter is coming up with a plan...I may be in traction by the end of the week!

I am enjoying getting to know you and enjoy reading your updates.
I had a great three day weekend. We finally had some sun and so I went for a walk each of the 3 days! I'm getting closer to my mini-goal and hoping I can do it!

HELLO EVERYONE ~ the day started with lovely sunshine and an amazing phenom: a rainbow in winter! No rain, but a rainbow nevertheless; that is the second time I have seen this in the last two weeks, and I got them on camera as well.

Am still recuperating from this flu, so just taking it easy indoors this week to protect my lungs from the extreme cold. Trying to still do my housechores and all just the same; my meds help so that I can at least breathe better. My sleeping has been eradic (sp), but I took a nap/rest in the aft to help.

Nothing much else going on here; DH is getting a bit bored with the winter and we are counting the days til spring ~ lol! My eating is pretty good, but I haven't gotten much extra exercise done this week; maybe next week will be better for me. Hope so ...

Rosebud - it was really cold here today too. I FROZE shoveling all of the new snow that fell. I'm so ready for spring. DH has been skiwalking to work lately. I still haven't been out with the poles this winter. I hope I can get back into it in the spring

Beth - congrats on your weight loss! That walking will certainly help you get to your goal even faster

Kimmy - don't let her plan anything too strenuous! When I overdo, it takes me a long time to recuperate - so I end up doing less overall than I would if I had been smart about it. Work up to it - and WAY TO GO getting started! I think that was the hardest thing for me - just setting a routine and DOING it!

Rena - congrats! That is awesome!!! Still not a grandma here - the kids are waiting until DS gets through with seminary (which is really smart).

Gary - glad the work load has picked up for you - except that we miss you around these parts Hope you are having a great week!

Sue - hope your trip home was uneventful! Traveling can be so difficult this time of year!

Hi every one yes I'm guilty of spoiling my little angel my precious gift from God. They are home and doing well . It has been cold here and we have lots of ice . Please pray for my DD and SIL that they would come back to God at least I can take Ashlyn to church. I pray for them constantly.
Counting down - Your DS was the smart one aye I wished I'd been a few years older but I wasn't.How many more years of seminary does he have?
Justwanttobehealthy-Glad you are feeling some what better having the flu is no fun.

Doitforme- I heard today that we may have a early spring here we'll see lol.Last year we had 5inches of snow and was 40 degrees this was in April the very next day it was 82 degrees so here in the North any thing is possible
Kimmy P - Oh dear traction let us know how her plan is going for ya.
Wilma-I was telling my DH the other day that if things keep going the way they are at church there will be more babies then adults. We have quite a few.
EZmoney- Praying for you in this busy time may the Lord give you peace and strength may you feel His presence while away from home.
