Don't let the scale get you down. I find that looking at pictures or putting on pants I wore when I was at my hugest makes me remember where I started and be grateful that I'm where I'm at and remind myself not to despair over having the last part of the weightloss be so hard to get off. You need to ask yourself how you FEEL, not how you look. Do you feel fluffy or overweight? Do you feel less-so than you did when you first started to lose weight? And, you know, maybe you're just at a weight that you're supposed to be at. I look at your picture and I think you look GREAT and think that if you lost any weight, you might start to look like you've lost too much. Being a tiny bit heavy is healthy...and you are squishier for your kids to give you hugs with and that is more important than a number on a scale.
Bob: Glad you're feeling better. Hope Kate follows suit soon!!
Rosalie: You are a great gramma! Have fun with the kids!!
Solly: You don't have it listed anymore...aren't you in Florida? Snow? Wow!! We have about a foot on the ground. I love it.
Monet: Fingers crossed for Tom!! And you!!
Well, I have to say...Kyle's been doing GREAT in school lately. Did I mention they split his class in half? Kyle got the new teacher and she is SO nice. She has four kids of her own, the youngest is 2...so that tells me she's a much more nurturing and nicer than the gestapo he had before. Anyhow...they had show and tell today and he brought in a magic trick to show the class with some cups and some puffy balls and brought his magic cape and wand. He did so well with the trick, the teacher had him go to the old class and show them, as well. He was so proud of himself. It was so cute.
Anyhow...have to go cook up some grub. Back atcha later!!
