Sounds like to me that you didn't follow the plan close enough maybe??? Alli will not help you make smarter decisions YOU have to do that.
The very same exact thing happened to my little sister. She started Alli and didn't read the little books that came with it good enough. After much prodding she finally admitted to me that she just skimmed the books.
She had ONE accident at work and then quit Alli. I got all the rest of her pills!
I can't stress enough that you have to follow the plan exactly. That means you have to log everything you eat (why do you think a small food journal comes with it) and keep track of the fat intake and keep it under 15 grams per meal. That means NO estimating you have to know!
Now I keep reading from people who have never taken Alli say "well why take Alli if you eat low fat??"
For several reasons, one is that Alli is to dieting what antabuse is for alchoholics. If you have an iron will and absolutely have unwavering willpower then more power to you! Most people don't that's why it is so hard to lose weight in the first place.
I can't tell you how many times in the last 50 days that I have been on Alli that I have thought twice (sometimes THREE times) about what I am about to eat. It is as if a a sentry is standing guard over me when I eat saying "go a head and eat that but you'll know you ate it tomorrow!"
Another reason Alli works for me is for when I do mess up and eat too much... when I cave in to temptation... when the dirty deed is done and the next day I am feeling guilty about pigging out the day before. While I am on the toilet I can at LEAST say that 25% of the fat I ate is being eliminated. At least the moment of weakness is not a TOTAL loss!
I have lost 35 pounds from Dec 1 and I have absolutely NO DOUBT this number is as high as it is because of Alli.
How do I know? Because a friend and I started dieting tha same time. We joined Weight Watchers together. We work out at the YMCA together. I am on Alli and they are not. I have lost twice as much weight as they in the same amount of time and I probably eat more than them.
Alli doesn't work for everybody but name a drug that DOES work for everybody??
I am very interested in the stories that I read about Alli failures because 9 times out of 10 if I deep deep enough I find that the person just took the pill and didn't make the neccessary dietary changes (or not enough) and when the plan fails they blame the drug.
The Alli plan very simply states that if you diet and eat low fat and exercise and and lose 10 pounds if you take Alli doing the same thing you will lose 15 pounds.
It's not a magic pill you have to work at it just like you do if you don't take Alli. It just gives you an extra added boost and I need all the help I can get!
I have been on Alli for over 50 days now and I can honestly say that in those 50 days I have not had an accident anywhere. On the days when I did messed up (and there have been a few) I noticed that in the toilet the next day there were drops of oil floating in the water. This is exactly what the drug is supposed to do.
I hope others are having success with Alli and for those that it doesn't meet your expectation... can I have your remaining pills???

JUST KIDDING!
