Got my walk in this morning. Even though I may get in the same number of calories (or more) and go further (or more) on my stationary bike, I don't really feel like I've exercised unless I get my walk in. I think it has to do with the fact that it takes more effort on my part to go do it. Or maybe it's because it's the exercise I started with, so I like to see my progress in terms of distance and speed. Make any sense?
