Hi everyone, you're all amazing

I lost about 52Ib, but I've put 7Ib back on thanks to a cream cake-fuelled holiday! I'm even going to admit it now and change the numbers on my signature!

My Christmas wish is to lose that 7Ib again.

So today I weighed in at 144Ib - I'm 5ft 6

Keep up the great work!

Hi, everyone. I have just been reading all your successes and am so impressed.

Shawn, I just finished reading your entire web site and am impressed by the journey you have undertaken to reach the weight that you are at. I have a whole bunch of questions to ask you based on the information in your site. It is truly inspiring.

I have lost 31.5 lbs. since embarking on the WW 123 success program on July 9, 2001. I am hoping to lose another 34 lb. but I am feeling very good with the weight I have lost.

Hints:

1. Write down everything you eat. Sometimes it isn't very pretty, but it tends to keep you honest about what you are actually doing. I have kept a diary of everything I have eaten since I started, with the exception of one day. We were in the Middle East in September and for DH's birthday I decided to break my weight loss program and eat off the hotel buffet to celebrate. Well, I would like to have written down what I ate, and counted the points, but frankly, I really didn't know what I had eaten. Just wrote that day off...

2. Have a plan for those times that you may not be able but want to eat healthy. Again, I go back to my trip to the Middle East. As a last minute thought, I decided to pack a few boxes of SlimFast meal on the go bars. Once there, I was happy to have them to supplement my meals. There wasn't enough food there that I wanted to eat to maintain a weight loss plan, and the month away was too long to go without eating. I carry a SlimFast bar with me now, just in case.

3. Exercise. I started out by just counting points. I HATE, HATE, HATE, exercise. However, where I work, there is a fitness centre down the hall and my own personal fitness centre (been here 15 years and don't take advantage of it). I have contacted the personal fitness trainer here and, together, we have mapped out an exercise program for me. I have kept faithful to the committment, even while away for a month, and voila, the muscles are tightening up and I am dropping clothes sizes. The weight loss has slowed down, but nobody but me knows that.

By Christmas I would like to weight another 10 - 15 pounds lighter. I have already purchased a size 6 bikini that I am planning to wear on the beach in Thailand in February.

Good luck to everyone else on their weight loss programs.

Default 130lbs gone

I have lost 130lbs since around 2 and half years ago. Just doing the good old stuff, a lot more water, eating slower, eating less junk food, smaller portions, exercise. Worked for me. I'm an energetic and healthy 190lbs on a 5'10" frame for a guy. I might get to 180 or so but things are good now and yes it was worth it. Finding so many good things to eat that were much lower in fat was a big help and being patient with the process of losing weight, i.e. hitting weight plateaus and setting 10lb goals helped as well.

I have lost 15 lbs. since Sept. 10. You are all doing great and that gives me the motivation to keep going toward my goal!

I joined a small community weight loss group (we are previous WW members). I am using the WW point system and walking. I have hit a few slow times when I was not motivated. Now, I'm at it again! Good luck to all (eat more cabbage than corned beef)!

Default great job everyone!

Hi! WoW! Everybody's doing so great here!

My all time high was this last christmas at 235... I'm now 25 down at 210! I'm thrilled, but I know I've got lots more to go... my 1st goal is 195... my next goal will be 175.

I'm doing it by eating in moderation & only when my body tells me to! I'm not on an exercise program, but I'm fitting more activity into my daily life!

Good luck to everyone! ~Kalypso.
