Mima, I have heard of Activia but have never tried it.

Went to the Y for a class this morning. I had to adjust to my level, but that's ok.

Good morning. My niece is home with her beautiful baby and her grandfather is in a nursing home. And Jessica is doing well in and out of school-driving lesson today. Going to Tampa this afternoon to meet Brad's friends from a church back home. Hey tammy, the Y can be part of your routine when you retire. Next week is Art League show and missionary week. Bye for now Mima

I agree about the Y. Bob gets up and goes out there about every morning. Tim and I get up and go to school. lol

I am ready to head for bed. Bob said last night I sounded like a sawmill while I slept. Apparently I was snoring and making all kinds of noises. My sinuses have been doing weird things, so that was probably the cause. He told me that as loud as I was, I probably didn't get much real rest because I sounded so busy!!! lol

Well, at least you didn't wake up!!! Since you have to work. Going to find out about going on a mission trip to Mississippi-it's on my goal list for this year. The dog is a problem ???? We went to tampa last night and met 9 other people for dinner-2 former Baptist pastors. One couple goes on mission trips all the time. And they are in their 70's. Stomache is a bit better-limiting myself to 1 cup of coffee. Bye for now, Mima

I guess I was a sawmill again last night!! Poor Bob! Maybe he'll get some sleep tonight. Maybe he should sleep on the couch. lol

A mission trip will be awesome Mima! I've never been on one, but friends of mine have. Life changing experiences. I never drink coffee, so it wouldn't be hard to limit myself.

Water aerobics tonight. Lots of fun.

I use foam earplugs because Brad snores.Maybe you could use breatheright strips. Pray for me to make a good decision-they are putting cots in a rec room to sleep-I would be happy with a motel room. My brain says Brad should go and I will take care of the dog. My heart wants to go. Anyhow, it's a good dilemma. I can imagine there are no hotel rooms. Someone said it was really bad down that way. Those poor people. Missionary week at Brad's church. Going out to eat with them at CrackerBarrel ri am-each Sunday school class has a missionary to wine and dine-not wine really-only dine. Mima How was your weekend ,Meme?

Hey! I have some of those breatheright strips. Wonder if we moved them or if they are still in the cabinet at the old house? I'll look for them when I'm off of here.

I'm sure you will make the right decision about the missions trip. God will help you with that decision.

We can't take the dog. My stomache has been so bummed out that I think Brad should go if he wants to and I will stay home. I am getting so frustrated with my stomache-is it ibs, diverticulosis? It hurts all day and I can only eat certain things. When we get home, I will go to the gastro guy. If I have to have surgery, I want to be at home. My brother had surgery to remove some of his colon with diverticulosis. I will do that if I need to. This is now interfering with my life. I read that you could have scar tissue from repeated bouts of infection. I did ask the church in MS if there were other accomodations besides the rec room. I feel like I need my own bathroom. I haven't heard from them. Brad is the one with the skills. I would be part of a canvassing project where they are going to leave gift bags at the door of every house. I can handle that. We will see. Art today!!! And the missionaries will be here at a service tonight. They are coming from all over. We are meeting them for breakfast on Friday. never a dull moment at that church!!! Mima

Default Hey There

My brother is still here. He is moving to the other sisters house tomorrow. We are enjoying having him here. The hubby seldom has a man to talk to and he is having a ball. My back is still giving me a fit.. When the IBS kicks in I start eating yogurt.. It helps ,give it a try Mima... The weather here now is perfect. We do need rain though. I dread seeing my water bill this month.
Today is Eleni's birthday. Mine is Friday. She is having a big bash Sunday. I am going out to dinner with all the family Sat.I have eat too much this week. I need to get back in line...Keeping weight off is really is harder than losing it..I hate the tension it put me in..Joanne

In the same boat with you, Joanne. I ate junk food all last weekend (and several days before while getting ready for the Home Show) and gained 5 pounds. Now I have to try to get that off. We had a very long and strenuous weekend. Took all my effort just to get through it. It's Wed. (actually Thur. now) and I still have no energy. We were at the Home Show Friday from 2:30 to 9 PM then again Sat all day. Hubby went at 8:30 ... I went at 12 and we stayed until 8. Then went back on Sun. from 12 to 4. I'm guestamating there were between 2,000 and 2,500 people came by our booth. I gave up on getting up and down and just stayed standing most of the time. We had carpet on packed dirt floors so you can imagine what my legs felt like at the end of the day. It was inside but not all that warm so I was not a happy camper. Our best friends own a propane company and they were right behind us ... he knows how cold I get and he had brought a lot of his fire places and heaters so he had one of his men mount a wall heater behind me at the back of our booth so at least I didn't freeze like everybody else was doing. We fight all the time so I told him I finally found something he was good for!!! (We just play fight!) I'm just glad the whole thing is finally over. Our county schools are on spring break this week and next so I'm off ... hallelujah! If the trailer customers will leave me alone maybe I can get some rest. It's supposed to storm all day tomorrow (today) I'm going to stay in bed!

Good morning-Glad you can rest up. We decided that Brad will go to MS and I will stay home with the dog. I am going to see the gastro guy when I get home to see if there is something I can do-even surgery. I eat yogurt every day-that;s what Activia is-Anne always said that we may have a yeast problem-They say to eat that for 2 weeks, Wow-what a service last night, The missions director came running through with a lit torch and placed it on a cauldron? and fireworks went off. Missionaries were presented etc. Yikes. Getting ready for Mike's bd-he will be 44.
Funny story-I have a pic of my daughter and her boyfriend on the frig. but since she was going her separate way, I folded it in half so it was only her. Then she called and said she had gone over to his house and was helping him pick out a mattress etc. When I got off the phone, Brad said-I already took care of the frig. He had unfolded the picture. Boy, did I laugh.
Bye for now. Mima

Joanne, Happy Birthday to you and Eleni!!!

Meme, how nice of your friend to provide heat for you! Nice guy!!

Mima, how funny about the picture!! When Tim and Jess broke up for a while, I moved all the pictures into the extra bedroom. After they got back together, I brought them out one at a time.

Good morning. We are meeting the missionaries that have been assigned to our Sunday school class, along with other couples. The church took them on a nightime cruise last night. Me thinks they will be tired but missionaries are used to long hours and this is giving them a break, It's awesome to see what a church with 6,000 memebers and a pastor who has vision can do.
Evan was here for an hour and a half last night. That boy is so sweet but Mike said he would take some videos of his behavior at home to show me. He talks all the time in his own language, interspersed with real words like Mima. He is going to stay over after the birthday party because they are going to a hockey game.
I did some breathing, push out your stomache exercises last night . Probably half of my stomache pain is related to fibro. TGIF for all those that work, Mima

Mima, I'm sure the missionaries will have wonderful stories to share with all of you. Evan sounds like a delightful little boy. I'll be on my own tomorrow afternoon and evening because my guys are going to a hockey game. It is Tim's birthday gift. His b-day was last week, but the game is tomorrow. I'm sure they'll have a good time.
I'm off school today for my aunt's funeral. It was good to see some of my cousins at the visitation last night. It's sad that it's the only time we see each other anymore.
Have a good Friday everyone!
