Yeah that was a good show last night....both teams did a great job...the guy on the blue team really lost his fat and replaced it with muscle...and the guy on the red lost a whole lot of weight, you could really see it in his face...this show is very inspiring , I love to exercise while watching it lol...

I thought it was interesting that this show showed the nasty side of the red team girl (Sara), whereas the first one showed the nasty side of the blue team girl (Rasha). I suddenly found myself not rooting for the red team, because of Sara's attitude. I guess I have trouble with people who say things like "I'm a princess". Makes me wanna...

I thought everyone looked great. Sara I guess lost another 10 lbs after the show and Rasha lost another 15. Rasha looked beautiful as we all knew she would. I think that Rasha and Edward worked much better as a couple-team than the other. But, the other couple is younger, too.

Interesting show. Last night was the first time I ever saw BL and I found it very inspiring! It's funny, as I watched, I was rooting for team blue because I hadn't seen the first episode (and all the things about Rasha that people are talking about). Sarah just seemed kind of mean sometimes in last night's episode. ("I'm a princess, I have to get married in a castle!" ) Well, I'm just happy that all four people made such great changes in their lives, and I'm looking forward to watching the restaurant families next time!

Ha smartbutt - I noticed that too. It is so funny how we assign personalty traits to people that we spend an hour with on TV as if we have totally figured out there character. Well, I guess that's why it's TV. I think to do that show you would have to have skin thicker than an elephant if you thought about how you came across. The girls looked really good, but I think the men were the ones who really made the dramatic showing. Blue team guy started to look like trainer Bob - a real hunk. Red team guy really has a handsome face.

So then, it stands to reason that, barring any health issues, us "mortals" (without all the conviniences they are afforded and the promise of cash and prizes) should be able to do near that in a year's time, right?

yogini - If you are very very motivated and stick with it thru holidays, good times, bad times, sickness, etc you should be able to do it in a year.....With a good eating plan, rest and lots of exercise. If you have a partner they would almost have to be able to support you 100%.
With that said - go get em!

I thought that there was only a 7 lb. difference in weightloss between the women.....Rasha lost 70 lbs. at the final weigh-in and Sarah lost 77. Given that Sarah was almost 60 lbs. heavier than Rasha to begin with....if it were a competition between just the 2, Rasha had a bigger loss.

I thought that last night's show was slanted to show a more selfish side of the Red Team.....there was no good sportsmanship. Sarah was looking like an immature brat. (but that's what we are supposed to think?)

I don't think these couples scenarios are very "reality"...they are scripted for entertainment, and the part where sarah's parents "give" them an apartment looked too fakey.

WHAT happened to KELLY MINNER???? They didn't show many shots of her body until the end, and she looks much heavier, do ya think? Her arms and her midsection?

marble - thanks for all the info. I went onto the biggest loser site and I watched some clips, but then my computer messed up......I couldn't really tell about Kelly from the clips.....
About Sarah's parentes giving them an apartment - that seemed fishy to me too.....

Star... I think Sarah's parents gave them the apt so they could do this competition on their own & they would be set up for success. Steve & Sarah had to support one another & what a better way then living together?
I am so glad team red won!!

marble - good point. In this type of show, they do put all the footage together to make an entertaining story, which doesn't always necessarily accurately reflect the personalities of the people involved. Bad side of team blue in Show #1, bad side of team red in Show #2. It just seemed like Sarah couldn't stop scowling during parts of it. And the thing about the apartment was very contrived, agreed. I probably would have died of shock had my parents (or DH's) given us an apartment with their blessing before we were married!!! (Biggest Loser show or not!)

I wish I would have watched the first half of this!

I thought Caroline looked really good too. I don't know if it was the way she dressed or what, but she looked slimmer. Both guys seemed really sweet to me while both girls seemed a little spoiled. Now where are the men like that in my area!
