Arrow Day 5 (I made it!)

The eating was pretty bad, candy, popcorn, etc...
But I managed only 1722 calories and I worked out twice so I am feeling pretty good about everything - though I think I still have a bit of a sugar high. This is the longes streak of good eating that I have had since March this year. I am feeling really good about things.

i am going to start writing down my calories today. I have been doing pretty good without writing it down but i think that I could be doing better.
I am going to try to bike ride this weekend.
How is everyone doing?

I went totally overboard (calories) on Thursday -- but I am starting today with a lower goal. I am going to have between 900-1400 calories a day from here on out until I get to goal weight. I am making smaller lunches, drinking more water, and having healthier snacks. It might not seem like much, but the difference from 1800 calories to 1200 calories is like eating vs starving. At 1200 I don't get to have cream in my coffee or paramasan on my spaghetti, or french bread with my pasta, etc... But after 2 weeks of averaging 1770 calories a day and only losing 1 lb I need to do something. I don't want it to be a year before I get to goal. I want to be mostly there by September so I can buy some cute new clothes for school. Besides the fact it is going to cost me around 1K for a new knee brace molded to my newly skiinny leg. I want to buy one brace and wear it for the rest of my life, not a new one each year for each different weight.

I officially lost 3 lbs in the month of June - I would have liked it to be more, but I wasn't working as hard as I could until the last week. I am going to do better this month. I am starting off today on a new streak and my goal is to keep it going for the entire month of July.

My last 4 days have sucked - but I am thinking that July 4th is a hard day to start on if you live in the US. I am just planning on surviving today and then being really good the rest of the week.

Oh - and Michaela - one of my new goals is to go to the track and walk everyday. I can walk there without my brace.

We can do this!

Morrigan have you got to walk at the track at all this week.
I got my new pedometer. So far today I have walked 800 steps burned 44 calories and went .36 miles.
I don't know if I am going to be at 200 in three weeks but I at least want to fit into a size smaller pair of jeans that I just bought.
Good luck today.

Now here I am feeling gulity... I haven't been to the track in a few days, but the day before yesterday I worked out at the gym on the treadmill and bike and rode my bike to town, the day before that I went golfing and counted that as walking, and yesterday I went for a 1.5 mile swim in the lake. I probably am going to swim again today (If my muscles will cooperate - they are sore). And I have been doing crunches.

You sound like you are doing well. I had a great day food wise yesterday. How are things going on that front?
