Yeah. Once I read the stats I just couldn't do it. The shakes from the place my hubby went are really too sweet for my taste anyway although their other food is yum.

BUT speaking of Mcd's I really do like their plain sundaes, basically just a cup of frozen yogurt, 170 cals. So yummy, low cal for a dessert and always satisfying!

Hubby left a big ziploc of leftover pizza in the fridge...cold pizza is my weakness.

I actually held a slice in my hand and stared at it for a few moments, thinking
"Well, one slice won't hurt. I was down a pound today, I deserve a treat!....but one slice might lead to two...there are 330 calories in that slice....I'll just have one for lunch tomorrow."

And I put it back and left the kitchen!!!!

Cold pizza is my weakness also I love the taste of left over pizza in the mornings. Being an addict to food is hard when you need food to live on. Way to go girls on fighting off those temptations today.

Out of home environment. I had a Wendy's bacon burger because I wanted one. But I did Resist the Frosty! The burger was not what I remembered, I will not be getting another. I also resisted grabbing a tiny slice of pecan pie before Dh froze the remaining pie.

We have Subway a lot too. I used to get the 12 inch roast beef sub with no cheese and just mustard but I think next time I will just get the 6 inch one.

Any ideas on the calories in one of thier cookies?

I love it when that happens. Eat the food you used to eat and it is not as good as you thought it was. Then the next time you want one, you think about how not good it was last time. It always makes me realize that i do not want to waste my calories on something that doesn't taste good.

I had 3 tostitos scoops with homemade salsa on each scoop. I had ONLY 3 instead of the HUGE bowl that I really wanted to eat!

Every year at Christmas, a client always gives us Screaming Owl Salsa. It is a locally made salsa by a church and it is sooo good. We usually buy chips for the salsa. I love salsa and chips so I'm very proud of myself

That is a great way to think and look at it. Why buy something again when it was bad the last time you got it.

I resisted disgusting choices at a holiday party--and sadly, the healthy choices were pretty disgusting too. I actually had a 1/2 hour conversation with someone next to the dessert table about how none of them looked even remotely tempting/delicious but, rather, looked cheap and fattening. Ok....maybe it was all so bad that it was easy to resist....lol

I recently found peppermint marshmallows. Of course, genius me decided that cocoa rice krispees and the marshmallows would be the PERFECT match. IT IS! I made rice krispee treats. They are to die for! Needless to say, last night I resisted eating more than 1.

Pizza.

I had grilled chicken and sauteed vegetables instead. It was so good! I'm glad I made that choice!

I resisted a mcflurry from mcds last night but only cause their machine was down. I get one every so often to I don't binge on junk. The big thing I did was resist buying ice cream when I went grocery shopping cause when that happens I over eat on it and gain so I go to mcdonalds every once in awhile to get ice cream so I can have it in moderation and not over eat on it.
