Hi Ladies!

Well I did it! I went to WW. I will say- I expected a bit more energy. I am told that the other speakers are a bit more lively. I did buy the startup pack with the restaurant guides. That will be a great help. I ate Chinese food today and had no clue how many points that was. Now I know! Tomorrow I cut back on the Diet Coke. (Boy that will make my mom happy!) My Chef will probably throw some at me by the end of the week. He generally does not like me decaffinated. The last time I went cold turkey he left some on my desk... I will not give it up completely because I will rebound and rebound hard. I do not think it is necessry to give it up all together. Just calm down and drink more water than diet coke. If I did give it up totally - Coca Cola Stock would drop!!!

I will keep you posted!

How is everyone else doing??

Have a great day tomorrow.

Angry Hey chickies...

Ok, I'm with you on the Easter challenge... now that I have somewhat merged back into my life here after my Thailand experience. So lets see, April 20th is Easter? That seems a long time from now... spring! OH man, I can't wait for warm weather. After going from 85F plus weather to friggin -30F when I returned, my body is in shock. Plus, when the weather warms up... it is time to start walking and gardening!!

So today is Feb 18 and Easter is April 20... that gives me roughly eight weeks. As of today I am at 181.5 ... I am so close to being down twenty pounds!! I am going to shoot for a goal that is within a range so I don't set myself up for failure. How about I will go for a weight loss somewhere between 6 to 10 pounds by April 20th. I definitely want to see that 175 mark by then! Hopefully more. Weight loss takes so long, but boy it feels good to know that this isn't a quick fix scheme and that I'm not going to put the weight back on. I've really made some major changes in my eating habits and at this point it seems a natural way of life. I actually don't have to think about it anymore and I have been consistenly losing around three pounds a month. Onwards to Easter and a thinner, brave new me!

Good evening Ladies!

The only thing I can say about today is :

20 oz of Diet Coke!!!

that is all I have had.

I did make a sugar free 2 point chocolate pudding that took the place of ice cream.

Only 9 weeks till Quebec...

Have a great evening!

Angry newbie in for the challenge

Hi Everyone,
I am in for the Easter challenge.
198/188/145

I will try for ten pounds by Easter. My plan is to eat less and
exercise more.
I am going to write out weekly menus today , so that I can have some kind of plan otherwise ,
I forget that I am even on a diet and start
eating everything in sight.

I look forward to getting to know everyone and cheering
each other on towards are goals.

Hello Ya-Ya and others!!

Hope everyone is doing okay. I went to visit my Mom for a few days. I really went off plan there yesterday!

However I did feel good because I got to buy two new workout pants. They were both mediums and fit just fine.

I ate well today, but did not exercise. Tomorrow is a new day to get up early and go to the gym for a fabulous workout!!! I think I'll bring my swinsuit and treat myself to the hot tub.

Later!

Sandi

HI Chickies!

If it were not Friday I would scream! I have not weighed since WW, but I have pee'd more this week than I have in years! Still drinking 8-12 glasses of a water substance a day - Crystal Light helps! And since I am now actually eating veggies- that makes you potty too! I feel 20 lbs lighter! Realisticly I KNOW I am not, but it feels good all the same. My fingers have baggy skin because all the fluid is gone. They look like my mothers! I had to go the the farmers market in Atlanta this morning for the chef (in the rain no less) and then when I made it back to work, my day went from hectic to spastic, so I actually forgot to eat - I can tell you that is a FIRST for this southern belle!!!!

My kids talked me into ordering pizza tonight so I have to figure out the points!

It was really hard last night. I had 5 birthday cakes to make, and one of them was a 6-type chocolate cake with Bailey's Irish Cream and it was covered in Bailey's flavored Chocolate Ganache and I admit I did lick my fingers a bit. I dropped one of the cakes when it came out of the oven and I had to scoop it up off the floor and it was all I could do not to sit there and eat it with a fork- YES OFF THE FLOOR!!!! I made myself put it ALL in the trash, but I did smell the **** out of it!

Have a great weekend! I do not have any wedding cakes this weekend so I hope to shampoo the carpets! - maybe- maybe not-

Wow, Sarajane, if I baked cakes for other people I would be eating icing all day long...Good for you! You are an inspiration to me! I will think of your strength when I make DH a cake for his birthday next week!

And have a relaxing weekend - I always say, carpets (and lots of other stuff in the house!) can wait!!

Thanks but I do splurge a bit! Especially when it comes to Champagne mousse- Do you have a glass of champagne or a glass of the mousse???

Chocolate is a my biggest weakness.....I did not drink much water this weekend and I feel really bloated!

Well tomorrow is Monday- so back to business!

Have a great week!

I've decided to get back on my low carb program that I was on (but struggling with ) before Christmas.

So I am having 1 coffee with cream and sugar per day (am)
and cutting out caffeine and sugar for the rest of the day as well as white rice, potatoes and white flour products. I did this before and felt better and had more energy throughout the day.

Here I go!

I drank TOO many diet cokes this weekend so I am downing the 64 ounces of water for today before I go to bed. It seems to be a lot easier when I am not at home. In my office I have a small refrigerator full of bottled water, but at home it is all I can do to drink Crystal Light. Right now I am eating some sugar free pudding made with skim milk, so you know how good that sounds!

I am gonna try to walk around work tomorrow in stead of driving, but that depends on the weather. I have meetings most of the afternoon, but maybe I can get in a couple of trips across property on foot....

WW is tomorrow evening- my 9 year old son is going to go with me. He is really getting out of control- the football coaches love him big during football season, but when it comes to baseball season, they want him thin! I am seeing what a bad thing these coaches are! Do they expect him to begin his life on the flip-flop train??? Now that is another soapbox to jump on....Anyway- there is a 12 year old boy from our same school system, so his mom dealt with the same coaches.

I dread going to work tomorrow. There always seems to be something on Mondays that ends up with me getting reamed in the a##. I wake up knowing it will be a day from ****!
I keep threatening to my husband that I will quit and substitute teach on days I do not have to make cakes.

Have a great week!! Good luck to all!!

Angry Just wanted to see how everyone was doing

Hi! We haven't checked in on this challenge in a while. How is everyone doing towards working towards their goal?

I'm ok, sort of slowing down, so I have been watching my carbs and even thinking of Atkins diet.

Hugs!
