Me three or me four with needing a doctor! I just got back from CVS with lots of Airborne, cough drops, vitamin C and etc. At this point I'm willing to try anything almost since I am so darn tired of being sick. I feel like my throat has a frog in it and I have the most horrible headache. The eating plan has gone right out the window since I am so tired and feeling so nasty. I went to the grocery store too and got a bunch of slim fast drinks and snack bars and some expensive ready to eat meals along with salad fixings (my sorry attempt to be healthy) and etc. Hopefully that vitamin C kicks in sometime son. What tees me off is I'm still on antibotics for my sinus infection I had last week and am getting sick with something else!

have a nice night!

i'm a litle later finding this thread.. but i'm up for getting 5 pounds off My Christmas goal is 235 i'm up for making it more if possible! hehe

Looks like everyone's really working it to get those five pounds off for Christmas! yay!!

I guess if i had to find a good thing about my DH being gone for Christmas.. and no big family Christmas this year, it's that i will have less temptations to go off plan!! woo hoo! I mean.. how many people have a chance to work out on Christmas!! haha

I'm sure I will be snarling once I relaize that Dh really won't be here... but for now. i will rejoice in the tim eto work on this beyonce body in training! lol

HI TEAM

Well I was a little bit bummed out this morning when I hit 177 on the scale.... dang! that is 2 pounds UP since I started this thread. Could be a bit sodium but I guess I had too much Mexican food last night. Like always!

Is it my fault the Mexican restaraunt we go to is so good?

I did get a 3.5 mile walk in this morning with my beautiful wife and two personal trainers

big game for me today...USC is gonna whip UCLA

I should be OK with the beer intake during the game....my company CHRISTMAS party is tonight...a fancy affair so I will try to arrive sober I know my wife would appreciate it since the last two years she has had to drive to the party....

Is it my fault that the USC - UCLA game seems to always be on our party night?

Big game for me today as well: UofA vs. ASU!! (AS who??) =)

I worked out hard today so hopefully that will have me feeling less lazy tomorrow! I'm trying to get back on track with working out.

I keep convincing myself and then changing my mind that because tonight is the game (which, mind, I'm not actually going to), I deserve beer. But then I think that I just started working out again and I'd rather keep this feel-good and skip the beer.... but it's tempting me from the fridge! =)

keep it up ,team

Wink

I am SO SO SO stuck. And that is no HO Ho HO for me. Doesn't matter what I do. I've upped calories, cut calories, worked out, not worked out. Theworst part is my weight has settled at 200.4. It couldn't possibly be under 200 now could it. What gives??

I'll just keep working and some year, something good will have to come of it.
On a better note, I am almost finished with my X-mas shopping.

[command: start rant]
Well-- I got a new job this week (kind of) lol... oi. I've been working 12 hour days--3 of which is commuting to/from any or all of these darned places-- this past week. I'm totally exhausted and ready for a break, and I know my next day off isn't until the 13th.. (unless maybe I can get more hours..) No rest for the weary.

It's not like I'm even saving up for something... Well.. unless you count the credit-card-debt that I want to undo ASAP... *sigh* stupid cars always cost me money..

On top of that, 3FC and my computer weren't getting along very well, so I was unable to check in!!!

Ok ok ok.. enough of the whining...

I'm either steady, or maybe down a LITTLE... I've been eating a lot of fast food... Well, I should really say: I've been eating a lot of coffee shop food... Bagel and cream cheese and Soy Chai Latte for Breakfast/lunch, Fruit/cheese plate or apple fritter for lunch/snack, then whatever the boyfriend says to bring home for dinner (usually jack in the box - ie grilled cheese, or taco bell - mm... 7 layer burrito). I'm an example of supreme health. (can you hear the scoffing in the background??)

I haven't been able to go grocery shopping in.... I don't even know how long That's bad, when you don't remember.

All of this on top of trying to get pre-approved for a home-loan, getting Evan (the boyfriend) back into college, performing all of our "Irish Christmas" performances as well as pulling together a whole competition for some schools in our area (Dec 20th!!!), and I've failed to get orders in.. yet again. And bills.. can't forget the bills... Not that I can't pay them.. I just don't have the TIME!!!

Ugh.. hoping everyone's doing well!! Sounds like there's some colds happening-- don't sneeze on the keyboard and pass the germs!!

[command: /end rant]

I'll be missing another workout today.

I just have too much to do right now and I was up til 4am sewing a Christmas gift for my daughter. I hate how the gym opens up late and closes early on weekends. Don't they know people have stuff to do!!?!?!?!

So my initial plan was to get to 175 by Christmas, but after seeing my weight loss slow down in the last couple of weeks (especially after my Thanksgiving feast) I decided I would be happy if I squeaked into the 170's. Well it looks like I may have to revert back to my original goal, because I woke up this morning at 180.2, which is a loss of almost three pounds in the last week.

Things are looking good

I decided to skip the beer last night - I have a party to go to on Saturday, so I'll allow myself a drink or two that night as a treat instead.

Yesterday I exercised for the first time in awhile, and either that or the large cup of coffee I had this morning (or a combination of the two) has me feeling FABULOUS today! Also, it's actually overcast here today (which hardly ever happens, we have 350 days of sunshine a year) and that makes me feel more in the holiday spirit.

Go team! Less than 3 weeks till Christmas!

So I'm still sick and unable to exercise due to how congested I am. Went to the doctor at a clinic that's open on the weekends nearby where I live and got tested again for strep throat to be on the safe side. I don't have it. The doctor I saw for the third time in 6 weeks basically said "sorry nothing he could do but it would be best for me to stay home from work at least a day and rest" due to me being on antibotics so much that obviously my body is not responding so I'm just going to have to ride it out and be miserable. He told me what to watch for and what to come back for if I get sicker. Hopefully I don't get sicker. He did give me a steriod shot to try to help some instead of another prescription for oral antibotics. So my arm hurts really bad now since I had a male nurse and he seemed uncomfy with me dropping my pants to get it in my hip and basically insisted he give it to me in my arm. Next time I don't care if he's uncomfortable- it's going in my hip. I'm trying to stay on plan eating wise. It is tough when you feel so nasty and just want to comfort yourself. Ice cream sounds really good right now but I've got some sugar free popsicles here that are more in line with my eating plan. My five pound loss isn't exactly going so well here guys!

Iriswhispers-WTG on not indulging!

Let's keep going though! Have a great Sunday.
