I really made it! I only covered 1.5 miles, but I'm so happy that I didn't stop, I don't really care how slow I run.
I would have never believed this was possible, but it so is! You guys in earlier weeks, just take it at your own pace and you can definatly accomplish far more that you may have thought possible.
Go us!
I just wanted to say that after reading your post, tonight I decided to JUST GO FOR IT and
I did w5d3!!!! I DID IT! My pace was just about the same as yours, but that's nothing to be ashamed of. I ran 20 minutes and DID NOT STOP!!!!
What makes me most proud is that although I am a severe asthmatic, I recovered with no problems at all and never one felt terribly winded. When the asthma kicks in, I start gasping and sputtering, but I didn't experience any of that tonight.
Plus, I decided to keep to my regular route despite the distance, so not only did I run 20 minutes, I did it on some killer hills.
I'm going to repeat d3 again over the weekend, but right now I am so looking forward to week 6!!!!
