I didn't go on the computer while we were gone...we weren't in the hotel much and trying to pry my step-d's laptop out of Angie's "Facebook" hands was freakin' impossible...gave me more time to drink in the hotel bar with my step-d and her boyfriend/college friends
What the heck happened to my post from yesterday??? I thought I saved it, but I don't see it here. Weird.
I talked about being out of town last weekend for my niece's graduation. Anyway... I'm back. I just don't know how to post anymore, evidently.
I had also talked about the Junior College World Series coming to town on Saturday. So excited! There are 4 games on Saturday, 3 games on Sunday and Monday, then games every night until the championship on the following Friday. I will be there!!! I just love JUCO baseball!
Oh! My son was "hired" to be an umpire for a younger division in little league. His first time. I was so nervous for him, but he did great. I thought he only really missed one call, and that's just my judgment. He might have been right!! No parents were mad either, so that's all good!
Oh, and the Rockies play the DBacks tonight. Hoping for some good wins!

It's up there D!...go back and check again....you'll be ok
Congrats to your son....I did that when I was a kid....stressful but fun. I also remember "coaching" the 1st-2nd grade level kids in the school summer baseball program...I was an almighty 6th grader.....now THAT was stress! Thank goodness it was during the day and most of the parents didn't come....whew...
Pithching is a bit of a worry at the moment. Penny is on the DL and Lohse is hurt!!! He will miss a start. They haven't decided what to do with him yet.
Let's hope our big bats get going. You know who I mean.
