I am at my personal goal~ If I lose more great if not, plastic surgery here I come !! I am so excited having been 325 and never thinking I would see the 100's ever again!

We are getting ready for our trip anwiquing and on to Brnason. Got work yesterday that my dad's brother died yestermorning with a massive heartattack. ad to do some heavy sould searching to make the decision to continue our planned (and PAID FOR) trip or change plans and go to Amarillo for the funeral. Amarillo is about a 7 hour drive from here, and the service is not going to be until Tuesday, so we decided on the trip.

On another note, you all know that I have said that ole' Alvin will not recommend the surgery to anyone who askes him about it. I thought it was because of the physical aspects and the risks, but we had lunch yesterday with some old friends who were passing through town and he talked seriously to them, and he told them it was because f the emotional issues, the lifestyle changes etc, that are his biggest concerns. Sound like we have a communication problem?

Barb, I am so sorry about your uncle..... When my favorite aunt died at Christmas time two years ago we had plans to go to disney...it was a tough decision but we did go to disney.

I have not had much time on the computer lately. We bought the little kid a game called zoo tycoon where he gets to build his own dino zoo....he spends hours on here!!!

Dropped a few more pounds...30 since July 23 and 20 since Aug 11th. Still having trouble with low energy but I promised Jifferoonie that I would swig down a protein drink or two.

I think dh is going to take me to wally world today....does life get any better than that? the little guy depserately needs new pants...I am not too worried about shirts...he chews them to bits!

Hazel Congratulations on getting to 199. That is just amazing! I have the same attitude - don't need to look good in a bikini, just need to hit a certain weight to be happy. I'm so sorry to hear about your son. I know all too well how hard it is to deal with kids and health issues. My heart goes out to you.

Peachie You are doing so well. I'm basking in your success. I've made enough trips to Wally World lately to keep us all happy. You wouldn't believe how much stuff the kid needs to move into his dorm. And then you find more stuff that you forgot. I'm freakin' broke!

Jif I just discovered that smiley. So he's done a big fade huh? I think Ms. Peach has a great idea. I'm going to start looking now. I figure if I find a great guy for you, you'll be inclined to move to Colorado. How fun would that be! I could be your surrogate Peach.

Barb I'm sorry about your uncle. It sounds like you made a good decision though about your vacation.

I got back from delivering my son to college yesterday. I feel rode hard and put away wet (if any of you city girls need a translation, just let me know)! When I left, of course I cried, but we had to say goodbye fast because he was on his way to a computer orientation class. It was easier that way. At least he admitted that he will miss me too. From mister stoic, let's-not-talk-about mushy-stuff, that was a big admission. Thank God for email! I'm just going to dive back into my life and get on with it.

and before you know it, he'll be in your kitchen lugging the BIGGEST bag of dirty laundry he could carry!!!! and you'll wash it all. i know you. you won't have the heart to make him do it before he comes home!!!

as for me moving to colorado. hmm,,. it's a nice state. really!!! i spent two weeks there on business once, and had a great time. wonderful scenery. fabulous barbecue. interesting birds. nice people. but moving there???? it was hard to adjust to the fact that people didn't try to run each other over in the parking lots..

and pumping my own gas???? joisy girls don't pump gas!!!!! of course, if the right guy were around, he'd HAVE to pump gas for me!!!!

and then there was that 4:30 on a weekday afternoon scene, a couple of blocks from the Capitol in Denver... i was the only person on the street for at least 5 blocks!!!! a very strange feeling, considering that i was in a STATE CAPITAL, for crying out loud!!!!

and for better or for worse, there is only ONE peachie in the world!!!! she's irreplaceable. and her kids are cute. REALLY cute.

I did it! And I'm alive!
Had my surgery monday the 25th!
I'm in some pain, but I'm home and happy it's over.

Well I'm back and am going to be posting here again. I am at the end of my dieting rope. I go and chat with the doc about getting WLS on Tuesday. So we'll see how it goes.

It's so nice to hear all of your good stories and posts. Very helpfull to help cure the jitters about the whole thing!
