Ags- Congrats on the loss! Seven lbs in 2 weeks is a big chunk to say goodbye to! Keep it up chickie!

I broke the rod in my closet from the sheer weight of all the clothing in there. It was crammed full at one point. When I worked at Avenue I would get 31% off everything, including clearance, so I ended up buying a lot of stuff I wouldn't have normally purchased for myself. You know, shirts with wonky patterns that I surprising liked on but hated on the hanger or dodgy material. Then they would have employee promos for 41-51% off selected items. The goal was to be walking models of their clothing. Its sad to have to get rid of so much of it, but I don't intend to ever be able to fit into it again! Mmm, pasta sounds so good about now. I think I have some whole wheat pasta in the cabinets... might have to make that for dinner.
Misty- My main is an 85 rogue but I've also got an 85 dk, an 83 prot pally, an 82 lock, an 81 druid and a bunch of lowbie alts. I play on Silver Hand... but no I do not rp. When my husband started playing he went where his friends played, and of course I followed my husband a few months later when I started. When I got sick a year ago I had to quit for about 9 months and really only got back into it when the xpac came out. I'm currently gearing for heroics and farming that stupid fox kit that just will not drop! I did get the rare grey camel mount though while flying over Uldum. That was pretty sweet. How are you liking cataclysm so far?
Learn- Okay, that is one of my favorite movies of all time. I used to watch it at my grandparents house when I was little and when my Grampa died I got the old VHS copy. I have since made my niece a huge fan too. She loves Donald O'Conner...she thinks "his eyes are dreamy". Kids. My oinking kitty also could not meow as a kitten. I wonder if there's a correlation there. She can meow softly now, or really belt it out if she tries, but you can see it takes her effort to do so. She could kind of hiss a little in lieu of meows, like only air was coming, no sound. Her oinking is kind of loud considering, but it truly is adorable. My other cat meows constantly. It sounds like she is saying mum. She hardly ever purrs and when she does its virtually silent and she is so fluffy you can't feel it really unless you're looking for it. Good luck going back your high school. I personally hate high school. There's 10 years difference between my sister and I, and to everyone besides me, we look exactly alike. I just don't see. Pretty much since kindergarten my teachers have called me Brandi. Drove me nuts. A few even called me Jody (my older brother) or Mindy (my cousin who also looks just like my sister and I). My nieces had the unfortunate pleasure of going to these same schools 10 years after me... they of course were called Jamie. My question is why haven't some of these teachers retired by now! That's what we all get for living within 10 blocks of where we grew up! Also, thank you for the warm air. We got it just in time to turn this storm from massive amount of snow to rain! WOOT!
Heather- Staying POP while eating out is awesome! It takes a lot of will power to make better food choices and not just say "heck with it, I'm getting a triple!" Good for you! I hope your weigh in goes well this weekend. You've been burning up those calories like mad this week!
Linda- Good for you for not giving in to the sweet call of chocolate. On the flip side, I love finding stuff when I clean. Like little presents that time forgot. Speaking of losing stuff in the 'junk closet', because growing up we had one of those too, I have a funny story about that but I'll stick that lower with my positives. You're right, I hate milk with a passion! As a kid, I was often left to my own for getting ready for school, and really the only breakfast I could make was cereal and milk and it always made me sick to my stomach. Milk just kind of sits like a rock in my tummy. I've tried going down to 1%, skim even and nothing helps. My brother needed soy formula as a baby and he also can't drink milk, but we aren't lactose intolerant either. We both can partake of other dairy/milk products. The problem with the smell though it all on me. I have an acute sense of smell. I can smell burning leaves maybe 30 minutes before the people with me can. I can smell grapes if we are driving around with the windows open. Its crazy, and it has its problems. Perfume as you can imagine gives me bad headaches if we pass someone who might have used to much. I can't really go into Yankee Candle without sensory overload. I think for me, milk just always smells spoiled. Maybe I can smell it turning before others can? I don't really know, but it always smells wrong. I'm thinking of trying soy milk though. I have no idea how it smells though... so here we go again with my quirks. How do you know if soy milk has gone bad? I am glad to know I'm not the only one with food/leftover issues. I'm sorry it's snowing. We had about an inch last night and now its torrential rain. Since its so warm though, most of that 70+ inches we go this winter has finally melted.
Ok, my positives.
I slept in so late today. I didn't get up until 3:30 this afternoon, but I really needed it. I was up until about 5am. I couldn't get comfy in bed, couldn't fall asleep, and at one point my second wind caught up with me and I'm surprised I fell asleep at all after that. I'm still under the weather and my head is killing me. The great part though is its pretty dark right now. I have a bad sensitivity to light and thus hate sunshine. I know, who hates sunshine, but I assure you sunshine causes me pain. I love when it rains, in fact rain might just be one of my favorite things ever. It's right up there with my kitties and shoes and the NEAQ. Nothing makes me cheerier than a rainy day. I call them gray days, and I <3 them. So I am having a wonderful gray day today! I might go sit on the porch in the rain for a bit, because I also love inclement weather... except that one time we drove up to NH and the rain turned into a tornado. That scared the daylights out of me. Tornados bad, rain good.

Also, I was able to be POP yesterday even though I felt like I was constantly eating. I had a lot of high density food, veggies and salad and whatnot so even though I had food pretty much every 2 hours yesterday, I still ended up with 1235 for the day. I also had a great WoW day yesterday, I got to do some stuff in game with my hubby which was nice. I haven't really been playing lately. OH YEAH... another positive! I finished that afghan panel as planned. I ended up opening a sort of junk photobucket yesterday for uploading pics to the cross stitch forum I read and put some of the kitties and my cake work and even some of me (before weight pics from 1997-2009) on there. Maybe when I reach the post count minimum I will post some pics here too.
Ok, so the funny story. In the 80's at some point my brother took my to the mall shortly after Christmas to spend a few gift certificates. Lol, remember when they were paper and not refillable. I really wanted one of those hyper color shirts that everyone seemed to have, so we got one. I loved it, it was a blueish purple and turned pink when it got hot. I was so excited and showed my mom when I got home. She said, oh yeah, its like those headbands I got you for Christmas. I looked at her like she had 3 heads and politely told her she had gone batty. I got no headbands at all, let alone awesome hyper color ones! She got pretty angry with me, thinking I was lying. I ran and got my sister and told her what was going on, and she calmly told my mom that no, I didn't get headbands. She said that I did get them, they were in my stocking, to which I said no... I didn't get a stocking this year. My mom sat there seething for a good 2 minutes before this look came over her face. She jumped up and ran into our dining room, opened the closet and pulled out my Christmas stocking! She hid it there in out junk closet so I wouldn't find it and forgot about it. Lol. So I opened up my stocking and had a second holiday. My headbands rocked and matched my shirt perfectly and there were other goodies in there too. She felt so bad for not believing me, and even worse for forgetting my presents. I thought it was hysterical. That closet was like a black abyss. We had all our games in there, puzzles, my moms sewing and crochet stuff, along with pretty much everything else you can imagine. Puzzle and game pieces always went missing, we lost a cat in there once but quickly found her again. So yeah... I miss our junk closet, it gave us fun times.
Ok ladies, I have given you the daily text wall so I'm off for a bit. Got to get rid of this headache and maybe check in with my sister. She lives 10 houses down so its a nice little walk to get the blood moving a bit. I hope you all have a great afternoon and I will catch up with you later.
