Mornin ladies,
TOM and a stomach bug as of this morning, double whammy...come on life is just not fair. No Work this morning, which is a pleasant treat even though today is Yoga/Cardio day I think I will do some free weights right now since I have time and swap the cardio for my strength training tomorrow. It will be nicer to be at home since I am feeling so down. Yesterday I was a perfect angel as far as food and water goes. Did NOT, repeat NOT get a workout in but things could have been much worse. Put together an official workout calendar yesterday evening. I had been following a schedule when I could but having it down on paper just makes me that much more motivated. Well here is to a good day, lots of water, shaking what your momma gave ya, and binge not gain not.

Jina - Thank you, I have also been meaning to tell you I enjoy your myspace comments

trns - Thanks for the compliments on my photos. I focus on Sports for a living...nice to get someone who actually looked at the others Went to your intro page...looks really good can't wait for it to be back up!

stacy - that is great! 40 LBS! Wow I cannot even imagine what kind of a high you must be on right now, keep it up girl!

junebug - LOL at the ending of your post, what does he expect coffee shop in building and his name is ROSS for crying out loud. I am sure he would be happy with the sitaution if he really thought about it, I mean what guy does not want to hook up on and off with Jennifer Aniston j/k. My landlord is a muralist...my apt is beautifully hand painted and I always get compliments on it. Makes it so easy to decorate!

Tifanny - Yeah I could see that about curves. I used to be a member of a women's only gym due to feeling out of place. I just felt like I did not fit into the machines, due to my small frame and I was tired of having to deal with sweaty gym beefcakes oogling all the women and stinking up the place haha. Pizza happens, great job getting a little extra commuter exercise in though.

Thanks everyone!

Spill, I just calorie count and exercise. Nothing fancy. I do a lot of weight lifting though, I think that's helped alot!

WTG rosie on the small victory I had a similar one, though no one was offering me anything. One of those times when all your brain tells you it needs is CHOCOLATE, but your body really really doesn't need it.... And for once I didn't give in. I usually do! (I sure gave in yesterday, and the day before, and...)

Man, we're entering the home stretch here at school. Two weeks of class and two weeks of exams left. Yikes! We've booked the U-Haul that'll take me and FH down to VA on the 28th, and then he flies home to Brazil on the 2nd for three months... which'll be hard but we'll survive. Another good thing happened this week: I got a summer job! I'm not even really sure exactly what I'll be doing, but hopefully it'll be better than the last few summers. At least the pay is really good -- I get more money every year because I've completed more education! Anyway, I'm excited about that and about being back in the US for good. Yay for change!

britomart- welcome back to the dark side....uh, states!. Are you going to go to Brazil to see him?

Stephanie- WE WERE ON A BREAK! j/k Also, I think it's that TOM for the entire state of Colorado, at least according to the ladies I've been working with.. Where in CO are you? If that's TMI, no worries. Just curious. I'm on Capitol Hill, soon to be near Curtis Park (I like danger, apparently).

Rosie- what exactly is an italian donut? It sounds like something I want no part of...

Blah, hope everyone is having a great week. Mine is horrible! I haven't really started any type of "diet" or even exercising thing... But blah... Maybe I'll do something soon... Also, I hate school...

junebug - i might be going to see him. I'll have a good job so I'll be able to pay for the trip, but I might have issues taking off time from work! I'd love to go, though, it'd be awesome, and I'd get to meet his parents (which I'm actually excited about, even though his mother speaks no english and I speak no portuguese!)

trnsfrm - wow, those are incredible! Judging from your avatars as well, you like playing with light + dark and shadow, don't you? I love the giraffes. What improbable animals.

Ok girls a couple of personal victories...I drank all my water today...did my half hour strength training, did an hour of yoga, and managed to stay under my calorie goal. I think this is the first day I can honestly say I have hit all three goals in my trifecta of weight loss...and all while on TOM! I love yoga I really do, I think it actually helped with my cramps, I feel great right now.

rosie - I do not know if I would have been able to pass...nice going

britomart - you were able to pass on chocolate...you must be super human or something. That is awful about FH being gone for 3 months, but whatever doesn't kill you only makes you stronger right?

junebug - haha I bet it is, all my friends are on it too! I live in Prison City whoops I mean Canon City. I lived in Denver/Boulder for like 2/3 of my life but work brought me here. I really hate it but will endure for the resume...

trns - I love vivid colors and the dramatic effect of shadow. Unfortunately at this point I am kept pretty busy as a working photographer. You know the ones that never get to have any fun and shoot things as they are assigned. That is why I love shooting sports so much, even though it is assigned I still get to have some fun with it. To let you in on the boring life of a photojournalist the other morning I was called out to go take a picture of a shed in some womans back yard. Evidently the wind blew it over a 10 ft fence and a power line from next door. The shed looked in almost perfect condition...how the **** do you put a creative spin on that? Anyway life in a small town...god I miss the city. Great photos

dreamer - START TODAY, don't wait, no maybes, it will never get done unless you JUST DO IT...haha now I am going to be sued by NIKE.

Good morning all,

It's almost the weekend...but my weekend is so busy (and potentially food & drink-filled) I don't know if I'm looking forward to it. Hopefully it will just be lots of fun - working for a catering co. to make some extra $ Friday, birthday parties, engagement parties, fishing & being on the boat, BF's sis & BIL (very fun/nice people) coming into town. Food, exercise et al was very good yesterday. Tonight the girls are having taco night at our house and I'll be getting there late b/c I have rehearsal until 9:00. I'm going to try and grab a big salad and string cheese between gym & rehearsal so I don't get home starving and eat everything in sight. I'd already planned a higher-cal day today, so that works in my favor.

stephiewilliams, great job on meeting all your goals yesterday!

Dreamer85, yes, I second Stephanie, start today! What are you waiting for?

Britomart, oooh, Brazil, that would be awesome. I hope you get to go!

trnsfrmnreplace, you're very talented. And thin. Kudos to you. I love giraffes to - that whole charismatic megafauna phenomenon - but maybe that's why I'm a biologist.

Rosie, way to pass up the doughnuts. Like junebug I don't know what they are either, but any doughnut sounds yummy (read: naughty ).

SexyRevealed, if you decide to get the Lean Gourmet the only warning I give is that I heard the Shrimp Scampi variety is not good - get a different kind.

Does anyone else have fun plans for the weekend?

HOla Chicas!

Trnsfrmer: Beautiful pics, I enjoyed those, thanks for sharing! I really like your avator also, and the previous one to.

Stacie: thanks for reminding me that it's just the good old fashion way of losing. Eating right and exercise. Great job again!

trying to get motivated to get back to the gym tonight after 4 days off...gah! How did I do that....laziness!
I'll do it, I have to!

Have a great day ladies!

Stephie- I know, right?! I just needed to get going, and thanks for the motivation! I actually attempted my Slim in 6 video today, it was pretty challenging but in that motivating way where you can't wait for it to get easier. My work schedule and class work is finally under some control, so I'm looking forward to going back to the gym, I'm hoping to go tonight after classes...

Overall, good and bad week, but my mood has been very positive. Thank goodness, I talked to an old friend I hadn't talked to in awhile and that was great! Just made my week I think, and I'm going to have a good weekend hopefully... GOOD LUCK EVERYONE! STAY ON TRACK! A day becomes a week, and a week comes a month! Happy April!
