Weekly Chat 3/27-4/2

Where is Daisy????

Alright, just couldn't leave for school without the chat up and running.

SexyRevealed 03-27-2006 09:36 AM

I'm off to Curves in a few minutes. I hope everyone has a great week!

teahoney 03-27-2006 10:06 AM

Why am I retaining water?? Your guess is as good as mine. As a result, I showed a three pound GAIN for my weigh-in yesterday. Hopefully that'll be gone within the next couple of days.

Stephanie Osborne 03-27-2006 12:39 PM

Hello all,
Well a new week a new start eh? Steph I like your new avatar and the positive message underneath it. Things are going to be busy for me this week...gotta work work work have some unexpected bills to pay. So working, working out and working the domestic goddess cleaning skills will be the story of my life for a while.

tracey - at least its only water, just imagine if it were actual substance, then you would have to work it back off...I am sure it will go away...water weight is just stubborn.

rosiek2277 03-27-2006 12:56 PM

The last couple of weeks have been just horrible I was sick for about 3 weeks in which I was barely eating anything which of course caused a nice weight loss. Unfortunately, once I got all better I ate, and ate. Gained 2.6lbs and have been having the hardest time losing them. This weekend although not the greatest at least I logged all my food. I’m happy!

I’m eagerly awaiting the arrival of my treadmill, 5 more weeks!

LockItUp 03-27-2006 01:09 PM

Sexy - Hope your workout was kick butt!!!

Tea - 3 pounds? Try 6, that's right I was 6 pounds more today, what the **** is that about??? I hate this crap!!!

Stephie - Thanks, I need the extra motivation! And good luck with all the work.

Rosie - I am glad you are feeling better, maybe your body just needs that extra little bit of weight to recover, I am sure in no time it'll be off. Yay for the treadmil coming soon.

I am gonna try to keep up with the chat this week, seems like one minute there's 5 and the next there's like 5 pages! That's good though.

Week goal for me is to get off the "water weight" or whatever it is that has come on in the last 24 hours. I need to do a lot of homework, and I want to workout like a mad maniac woman. So we'll see what happens, hopefull good stuff.

Stephanie Osborne 03-27-2006 02:38 PM

rosie - logging your food even when you are having a bad day is so hard for me. I am sure you will lose those lbs...but you know as well as I do taking them off takes a lot more time/work than putting them on.

steph - checked out your blog. Its really good. I have been looking for a blog of a gym bunny to follow along with so that I would be motivated to get going myself. Working out is something I really want to make an important part of my lifestyle. I will be checking out your blog often. Know of any other good ones?

Still working, BORED. Drinking my water and happy that I have made some great food choices today. This chat needs to get jumpin...I need something to occupy my wandering mind :)

LockItUp 03-27-2006 02:40 PM

Stephie - I found quite a few good ones on the "share your blog" board. I like Linds' blog and 2frustrated's also!!! Wow someone reading my blog, I'll have to try and make more interesting, hahaha.

Hi ladies,

I had a great weekend. I limited myself to one higher calorie day Sat. at 2400 calories (a major accomplishment - the limiting it to one day, not eating 2400 calories), and Fri & Sun stayed in a losing calorie range (an even more major accomplishment) and though I didn't formally work out sat & sun I stayed active. For once I don't feel like I blew my week w/ the weekend. I went to the beach, BBQ-ed w/ friends, went out fishing on BF's boat... whew! I'm tired. Definitely going to bed early tonight, after the gym, of course. I finally tried the No Pudge! brownie mix (made a single serving recipe) and it's yummy! Mmm chocolate.

Stephanie (stephiewilliams), what a pretty picture!

Tracey, I know it sucks but try to stick it out - you know the water weight will go away.

Stephanie (Lockitup) you sound very busy. GL getting it all done!

Rosie, logging food is definitely an accomplishment - for me that's the first step to getting back on track (cuz if I don't see it written on paper, I didn't eat it, right?). You get back to it in no time!

I need to check out some of these blogs!

I have jury duty tomorrow, ugh. I know, I know, it's my privilege as a U.S. citizen...but my employer doesn't pay me when I'm not at work!

Have a great week all! ;)

trnsfrmnreplace 03-27-2006 04:15 PM

Good Afternoon everyone! I hope everyone is doing fine.

LockItUp - What are you majoring in?

SexyRevealed - Good luck at Curves. Remember.... have fun! :)

teahoney - It will go away on its own, i hate it when that happens. Keep up the good work! You are almost done with your goal for this month's fitness challenge.

stephiewilliams - Where do you usually fit in your exercise? You are wonder woman. hehe. What kind of job do you have?

Megan1982 - Seems like you had a great weekend! Wish i could have joined you. hehe.

Hmmmm, lots to do today. I really need a good shove to get me to do work. I finally got the gym thing down and i make it pretty much everyday... but the work is suffering. I posted a new icon/avatar for fun. I kind of miss my lighter hair, but i'm back to my natural brown so i'm happy. Less maintenance.

I can't believe this month is almost over. It flew by! I'm about 70 minutes from reaching my goal for the FIRST time. But then another 200 something to reach my cardio goal. I can do it. :D

Stephanie Osborne 03-27-2006 04:21 PM

STEPH - I will have to check those out, anything for inspiration :)

megan - Thanks for the compliment on my picture. My Husband took it for my website.

trnsfrm - I am a photographer, but as my work can be really busy sometimes and then on the slow side I keep an at home quality assurance job for about 20 hours a week. I am trying to bump it up to 30 right now though, got some bills to pay. I have a treadmill at home, free weights, balance ball and a 24 hour gym membership to answer when do I workout...whenever I can pretty much. Not enough though...are all the girls in your avatar the same? And are any of those girls you?

trnsfrmnreplace 03-27-2006 04:24 PM

stephiewilliams - Awwweee you are a photographer? so am I! You have any work i can see? I would love to.

You are so lucky to have a treadmill at home. If i had one I'd be SET and get my workout out of the way in the mornings instead of going to 24 hr fitess at night when pretty much only about 5-8 people are there. That way i don't waste time waiting to use machines or weights.

Yes all the girls in my avatars are me. Why do you ask?

LockItUp 03-27-2006 04:32 PM

Trns - Love the avatar, you are so cute! And thin might I add. I am going for my AAS right to to be a dietetic technician registered, and ultimately going to get my bachelor's in nutrition to become a registered dietician.

(can you tell I am desperately avoiding homework by the fact that I have been on here all day? hahaha)

trnsfrmnreplace 03-27-2006 05:17 PM

LockItUp - Thank you. :)
I was thinking about going back to college just to learn more things for me, and i was thinking nutrition would be a good class to take. I haven't had a health class in 9 years. Gee!

How far along are you in the program?

haha, yeah i'm kind of avoiding my work right now too. =sighs=

SexyRevealed 03-27-2006 06:44 PM

Megan - Great job on the weekend! I know how tough weekends can be.

trns - Congrats on getting closer to your goal! You can make it!

teahoney - Don't sweat the gain... Keep doing what you need to do, and it'll be gone and then some... :)

Curves was fun today. I got kind of tired toward the second circuit, but I made it. I can't quit in front of the little old ladies... :) Today was my second workout. I don't know if I can do this for life, but I think it'll be a great stepping stone to fitness. After my contract is up I'll probably join a regular gym.
